A Day With You

Leon woke up beside Reese. Her eyes opened and saw a beautiful face. She remembered what happened last night. It was crazy. After months of being away with each other, they found themselves in the same situation again.

"Good morning, beautiful." Leni said softly, caressing Reese's cheek. The other woman formed a smile on her lips after feeling Leon's hand. She opened her eyes and a sight of Leon welcomed her.

"Good morning, sweetheart." Reese leaned forward and kissed Leon's lips.

"Sarap naman nun. Good na ang morning ko." Reese giggled. She stood up and walk towards the bathroom.

"Kaloka, nakahubad pa pala tayo." Leon pointed out.

While Reese was in the bathroom, Leon rested her body in the bed and stared at the ceiling. Lots of things running on her mind. Reese took up most of it. Leon doesn't want their set-up anymore. It's complicated. Hearing water running from the shower, Leon shrugged off her thoughts and just entered the shower instead.

She saw Reese facing the wall, water from the shower was flowing down her body. Leon slowly walked towards Reese. She enveloped her with a hug from behind. "Pwedeng sumabay?" Leon asked while giving Reese's nape soft kisses. "Basa kana rin, ano pa bang magagawa ko." Reese answered her.

The two women spent some time in the shower and a quickie. Luckily, the daughters of Leon weren't home. They didn't have to hide. Freedom was theirs for three days.

Fresh from the bath, Reese just realized that she doesn't have her clothes with her. Before she could speak, Leon handed over the undies and bra. "Akin 'to? Natago mo pa pala." Leon opened her cabinet of work clothes and scanned for something Reese could wear. "Yup, iniwan mo yan dito."

"Pambahay lang. I don't have work today. I'll go home na rin."

"Are you sure? Pwedeng dito ka muna?"

"Why? Di ba papasok ka?"

"Hindi naman siguro masama if I skip work today and stay here."

"Sus, gusto mo lang ako makasama." Reese teased Leon.

The two wore their clothes and went down the stairs to eat breakfast. Leon was about to cook for them when a staff called her.

"Good morning VP. I'm just calling to inform you po that na-reschedule ang isang zoom meeting niyo for today. They will just send another schedule raw po. You have your free day today, Ma'am. Huwag na po kayo pumasok. Hehe."

"Thank you. Tatawagan pa nga lang sana kita to ask about that."

"Enjoy the rest of the day, Ma'am!"

"Sige, hindi na ako papasok ha. Just call me if the office needs me."

"Noted Ma'am. Bye po."

Leon dropped the call and proceeded to the kitchen.

"Ano yun? Need mo pumasok?" Reese asked her while arranging the table.

"No. Mukhang umaayon ang tadhana, I'm staying here. Resched ang zoom meeting."

"Oh okay. Buti naman at makakapagpahinga ka."

"Ay pahinga? Akala ko naman papagurin mo ako."

"Leon ang kalat. Mamaya na, magluto ka na lang."

Leon just laughed at it. Reese sat down in the sofa after placing the plates in the dining table. Her view now is Leon inside the kitchen, cutting onions and garlic while waiting for the pan to be heated. She looked at herself– she's wearing Leon's clothes. It made her think of a simple life they could live together. If Leon isn't the Vice President and if she's not a Senator.
