Dinner

Leon was invited by Governor Christopher for a dinner. He purposely went to Manila just to see Leon. If we talk about efforts, Christopher is on top of the list. He gives Leon bouquet of flowers twice a month even there is no occasion. He texts her randomly which Leon finds annoying at first but appreciates it later on. She found a safe space with Christopher.

"Hi, Leon. Nasa Manila na ako. See you later :)" He messaged her.

"Hello, Christopher. Okay, I'll be there. See you!"

It's the weekend so there's no office today. Leon spent her morning and afternoon cleaning their unit and fixing her things. She and Reese didn't see each other as often as they would. It just became like that after that night. She had to admit that they are nights that she would miss her. When Reese randomly visits her in the OVP and vice versa in the OSRH. Those good old days. They texts each other but mostly it is work related. Sometimes, Reese asks about her day but nothing more happens. There's a huge wall between the two that only them can break it.

Dinner time is the governor's invitation for Leon. She gets ready and wore her favorite dress. She looks very beautiful tonight. The governor must have been so lucky tonight.

"Leon, nandito na ako sa lobby."

"Okay. Pababa na ako :)"

She went down. Leon greeted the security guard and smiled.

"Ingat Ma'am! Tatandaan ko po yung ka-date niyo." The security guard joked.

"Hi, gorgeous." Christopher kissed her cheek.

The governor opened the door for her. He waved goodbye to the guard who is looking at them. Leon and Christopher arrived at the restaurant. The ambiance of the place is very warm and peaceful. He got a good taste.

"Hold my hand?" Christopher offered his hand to Leon which she happily accepted.

They entered the restaurant. There are only few people inside. Christopher lead her to their table. Leon cannot believe what she is seeing- Reese and Jacob. 

"Don't tell me..."

It's a double date. The one Christopher said way back Iloilo Event. Tonight's the first time in a while Leon sees Reese. Both of the women were shocked of what's happening.

"Gov! Good evening. Hello, VP!" Jacob and Reese stood up. He kissed Leon on her cheek. Reese awkwardly did the same.

"H-Hi Mayor Jacob, Sen. Reese." She greeted them back.

Leon whispered to Christopher. Reese saw how intimate the two were. It made her irritated.

"Hindi mo sinabing, double date 'to."

"Surprise, Leon! You are friends with Sen. Reese right?"

"Y-yes." Leon gulped. 

Christopher arranged their chairs and let Leon seat comfortably. Reese is just looking at Leon- not minding Jacob who is beside her. Leon didn't let herself look at Reese. She focused more of Christopher.

"Let's order?" Christopher asked them.

"Sure. I'm hungry." Leon answered.

"What do you like, Leon?" 

Leon was about to answer but Reese did.

"She likes steak. Well done."

The three of them looked at Reese.
