The moon shone so brightly

on the rose gardens

their fragrance

spiced the night

the night was calm

and the wind was balm

for the spirit,

for the soul

He stood so still

Waiting so silently

And there on the sill

She stood

A Glena in the midnight

Crowned in white

From the light

Of the moon

His palms kissed each other

In supplication

In prayer

so that he might turn around

And find her standing there

Clothed in the shadows

Of the roses, she saw his silhouette

A dark Glena

That shimmered in the

Night

Glowing with an

Internal light

She saw him there

Saw his prayer

With a slight nod

Of her copper head

She answered, yes.

In a blink

She was gone.

They met

Touched

And explored

But from the depths

Of the shadows

Another watched

And waited.

His heart grew cold

With love unrequited

To see these lovers

Once again united

And so he plotted

And he planned

To take these lovers' lives

Into his own hands
