The sun blared through the open curtains, straight into my eyes, waking me from my wonderful dream. I wasn't amused, the dream was great, in it, I was Will's girlfriend and we were traveling the world together, as my eyes opened, a groan escaped me and I was blinded by the sunlight and noticed a telltale pain in my head. I sat up and grabbed for a bottle of water on my nightstand, my mouth feeling like the Sahara as my hangover set in and I began to remember bits of the previous night. Little flashes of the night came back to me, cocktails in the hotel, the VIP area, shots, champagne and.. Will. We kissed.. I accepted his offer to travel around with him and.. Wait a minute.. I glanced around the room and confirmed I was alone, nobody else in my bed, no-ones clothes on the floor except for my own. Phew. I remembered kissing him, a lot and spending most of the night with him but.. Did he ask me out? Oh my God. I am his girlfriend. The realization hit me and I couldn't help but smile, no matter how rough I felt, nothing would bring down my mood as it all sank in, a new boyfriend, a new job and a new adventure.
Picking up my phone, I noticed quite a few messages, some from people thanking me for a good night, messages from the United Empire boys, thanking me for letting them party with us, and even one from Chantelle saying she hadn't managed to make it back to her room alone. The thought made me chuckle, and then my phone pinged with a new message "Good morning gorgeous, hope you don't feel as rough as me, let me know when you're up" Will had this habit of making me smile uncontrollably, even with a text, he always had that effect on me, so I replied "Morning handsome, I just woke up, feeling a bit rough, why don't you come over and we can recover together in our PJ's?" I got up to pee as I waited for his response, and on my way out of the bathroom, I rummaged around in my bag for pain killers and grabbed the room service menu from my desk, but before I could make it back to bed, I heard a knock at the door.
My heart raced as I opened the door to see him standing there looking adorable, all sleepy, still in his pajamas, and as soon as he entered the room, he wrapped me into a hug and I nuzzled my face into his neck, which was probably a bad idea considering he always smells so good, and my mouth near his neck and shoulders got me a little hot and bothered. He held me tight before pulling away and tentatively leaning in to kiss me. He looked a bit unsure, so I tiptoed the rest of the way until our lips met in a soft kiss and once again, I melted into him. When we eventually let each other go, we made our way to the bed and both climbed in, I handed Will the TV remote, put the room service menu between us and made sure we both had painkillers and water. "Right, I remember most of last night, how about you?" I asked and he smiled "I don't remember that much, but I remember the important bits" I raised my eyebrows at his grin "Oh yeah? And what are those parts exactly?" He turned to me "Well, I remember how beautiful you looked, how nervous you made me, the fact you're leaving AEW to come with me as my assistant and if I remember right, you also agreed to be my girlfriend" he looked a little unsure about the last one, but spoke with confidence and my smile returned "You're right, they were the important bits."
Will and I ordered brunch on room service and watched movies in bed together until we both began to recover from our hangovers and decided we should get a few things in order ready for my new job "So, we can book you hotel rooms in Japan for the G1 if you don't wanna share with me yet, and when you come to England, I have got spare bedrooms, again, that's if you don't wanna share with me" I giggled "Oh I'm sure, I'll be happy to share your bed by then, but I will need desk space in all hotel rooms and an office of some sorts when I find myself a place to live back in the UK. I'll need a good work space to keep you organized, speaking of which, I'm gunna need lists of all venues, show dates, hotels and flights etc for the tour, so I can put them all in a calendar and get everything organized." I rambled on and then saw a light blush on his cheeks "All that's in my emails and notes on my phone.." he confessed and I couldn't help but laugh "Okay, now I get why you need me, all that should be in one place. Come on, I've got my laptop, you've got your phone, let's make a start" I grinned and he rolled his eyes at me.
We spent the rest of the afternoon, adding things to my calendar, making lists and finalizing plans, I even got Chantelle to email me the resignation letter she had written for me, read through it, edited a few bits and with a shaky hand, I emailed it to Tony and the EVP's. "No turning back now" I smiled at Will and he smiled back before leaning over to kiss my temple "Does that mean you'll be ringside for my match at Forbidden Door?" he asked and I shrugged "I don't know sweetie, I'll probably have a lot to do before I leave, and I haven't given a lot of notice really" He pouted at my response "But don't worry Will, I'll be ringside for every G1 match and every match after that" I smiled, causing him to grin before scooping my up into his arms, making me giggle as he plopped me onto the bed and planted soft kisses all over my face. In that moment, I knew I'd made the right decision, and couldn't wait to see what the future would hold for us, traveling around together, helping him be the best he could be, and of course, how our relationship would unfold.
