The both of you can't remember the last time you felt so full. Although it would be considered a small boar, barely passing as juvenile, it was still plenty for the both of you.

As you two sat near the fire for warmth, your bag laid open beside you as Kazuha's injured hand rests in yours. You carefully unclip the bandage and unravel it, the more you undid the more often you saw strips turn pink. Letting the bandage fall to the ground, you gently turned his hand upwards so that you could look at the wound. It's still bleeding a little and pulsing red, slightly beginning to swell as the healing process began.

You picked up the container of ointment and unscrewed the cap, dipping two of your fingers in and curling it as you grabbed some of the medication. You dragged it along the wound, Kazuha intaking a sharp breath from the slight stinging sensation at first before the feeling began to turn to a cool one.

You placed the medicine aside and picked up the bandage roll, quick to begin wrapping his hand back up so that it could be protected from the environment. When you finished, you tapped his hand lightly like you did last time to give him permission to retract your hand. A grateful smile came to his face as he thanked you.

As you packed the stuff back into your bag, you looked around you and sighed out of your nose.

Looking around as well, Kazuha tried to think up a better idea.

"Do you have any string?" He asked.

Not even bothering to check, you shook your head. "Nope."

"Damn, okay."

He hummed in thought as he turned to look over at you. "Alright, then we can take turns resting. One keeps watch while the other sleeps."

You nodded, "Sounds good. How does two-hour intervals sound?"

"Perfect."

Going back into your bag, you began to gather all the clothing you had and folded it neatly. You stacked it on top of each other and made it as square as you can, having no other option seeing as you didn't bring along a pillow and this was all you could offer for comfort. Kazuha watched the process as you then took the blanket that always would rest atop the bag and let it fall loose, the folds coming undone as you laid it on the grass.

Looking down satisfied at your attempt of making the ground comfier, you smiled and looked over at Kazuha.

"You can go first," you offered.

He was quick to shake his head, bringing his hands up as he emphasized his denial.

"I believe since those are your items you should be the first allowed to rest."

"Kazuha, I'm not even tired right now."

That's a complete lie. You just kept notice of the dark bags under his eyes that made you assume he hasn't slept peacefully in days. You were quick to continue,
