he left the room for a minute or two

aw! you look scared . demarcus said
he started laughing evilly it was like he was enjoying all this . it was giving him pleasure that was driving him crazy.

' well here you go darling ' , he said giving me a glass of water .

i took the glass and gulped it down in one go . i felt like i was thirsty for an eternity

i looked at him and he was staring at me . that look , it gave me shivers down my spine .
its weird how i never felt anything , literally anything untill i met him . its strange , so weird . he is still staring at me

i-i want to go back , i said
he tilted his head still looking at me and  while having a stupid smile he said , 'i poisoned you.'

he held a transparent vial in his hand , that had a golden shimmering liquid  .

antidote it is , he said
he opened the vial and drank it .

my eyes widened .

you know this antidote , it comes from a rare herb that grows once in 100 years and i drank it . theres still some on my lips you know darling , u can come and taste it , if u want to live . even a single drop can neutralize the worst poison , he exclaimed again with a wide grin on his face .

i stared at him with wide eyes completely dismayed .

i didn't said anything . i was feeling dizzy now .
i heard footsteps coming towards us but my vision it got blur . out of my mind i stood up and as soon as i stood up a darkness crept me and i fell down , a pair of familiar arms holding me

that was nice of her to fall for me .

she stood up but i knew she won't be able to walk because of the potion so i stood up and when she fainted i held her and carried her to bed . i layed down beside her , resting my head in my palm looking at her pretty face .

'demarcus w- ' , a familiar voice said

father all i ask is for a little privacy , i said annoyed by him
