Evaluation criteria in general briefly explained:The last sentence is the author's opportunity to leave a lasting impression. While a lot of emphasis is often placed on the first sentence to capture the reader's interest, it is the last sentence that lingers with us long after the book is closed and leaves a lasting impression.

According to my criteria, a last sentence should be original as well as creative. 
It should not serve tired clichés ("and then he woke up and it was all just a dream") unless it plays skillfully with a cliché. To my mind, this would be original again. 
A last sentence may surprise the reader with a twist or a cliffhanger. 
Basically, a last sentence should fit into the rest of the narrative and not deviate too much from the "tone" (unless the break is also recognizably the goal here) and, if necessary, "tie" the story together once again. 
Special copy leaves the reader with intellectual fodder/thought provoking beyond the story.
