Evaluation criteria in general briefly explained:In my opinion, a character introduction should be descriptive and evoke a good impression in the reader, concerning the appearance but also the character to get a picture of it. 
Also, a good character introduction should be "true to life". 
That is, a real character with rough edges, not a "Mary-Sue" who can do everything or a one-dimensional character who seems to consist of only one characteristic. 
A good character introduction should fit organically into the flow of the story without being perceived as an interruption or insertion. 
Furthermore, the character should be interestingly designed so that after his introduction there is an immediate desire for more. 
The most creative/multi-layered characters possible arouse interest and, in the best case, emotions of any kind in the reader.
