I'm playing with Taehyunie! He's so nice and funny!
He's the only one who plays with me, but it's okay! I only need him!
But the teacher got mad and scolded me.
"You white kid shouldn't bother your Korean classmates! They are better than you and you should let them alone! Can't you see how ugly you are!?" She was so rude!
I just want to play with my friend! I'm so sad!
She's holding my hand so hard and I start cry.
"Shut up kid!" She was about to hit me but Taehyun comes in front of me.
<<You don't touch my friend! I play with him how much I want!>> He screams.
<<We want to go home!>> He says and the teacher calls our parents.
We go to the bathroom together and I was crying so much! My hand hurts!
"I want you! You're my only friend! Am I ugly?" I ask him.
He shakes his head <<I'm your bestest friend! And you're so so so so so so pretty!>>
I nod and he hugs me.

"I love you Hyunie!"
<<I love you too Hyuka>> We hug and we wait for our mommies to come.
After that day I learned what being a foreign kid is like, I'll always been seen as a white American man, no matter how much I prove them that I'm Korean.
I also learned he will always be there protecting and defending me from this screwed up, cruel world.
