Taken From The Nest

~Three~

It was only three minutes after Shigaraki had pulled you into the portal that Hawks dropped down from the sky to pick you up from school. He looked around but couldn't see you anywhere. He went over to the bench you normally at on while you waited for him, but you weren't there. Maybe you were inside still? Hawks headed over to the door, opening it then stepping inside.

Once inside, he began to walk to your classroom in hopes that you just waited inside for him i today. When he got to your classroom, he opened the door & walked inside. His gold eyes scanned the room, but only saw your teacher. A bit of panic set in as he walked over to her, tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around, a smile making its way onto her face.

"Oh, hello Hawks. What can I do for you?" she said happily.

"Heyo. Quick question, have you seen Keila? She isn't outside where she normally is when I come pick her up." he says, a hint of worry in his voice.

"Last time I saw her was when I dismissed class. She walked outside with her friend, Marlo. Maybe she's just with her?" she said.

"Maybe, but I feel she would have at least found a way to tell or ask me first. I'll try checking with Marlo's parents, thank you." he says.

She nods & turns back to what she was doing. Hawks when back outside, taking to the sky instantly. He had brought you over to Marlo's house many times before, so he knew where she lived. He bit & chewed on the inside of his cheek from nerves. He hoped that this is where you were. 

Finally, he made it Marlo's house. He floated down to the ground slowly, a feeling of hope in his stomach. He walked up to the door and knocked, taking a step back. A woman with black hair and green eyes opened the door soon after his knock, a smile on her face as well.

"Hey Keigo, what's up?" she asks.

"Hi Layla, did Keila come home with Marlo by chance?" he asks, sounding a bit more hopeful than before.

"Um, I don't think so? I just got home from work. My husband was here when Marlo got home though, you can ask him?" Layla replies.

"Yes please." he said.

"One sec," Layla turns her head towards the inside of her home "Cole, can you come here for a minute? Keigo needs to ask you something."

"Coming!"  a voice in the distance yelled back.

A few seconds later, a man with blue hair and blue eyes walked up behind Layla.

"What's up, Kei?" Cole asks.

"Did Keila by chance come home with Marlo today?" he asks again.

"No, why do you ask?" Cole questioned.

"Because I can't find her. She wasn't in her usually spot I pick her up in and when I went to ask her teacher, she said that Keila was last seen with Marlo." he explains, panic returning in his voice.

"Maybe she went home before you got there?" Layla says. 

"She knows I pick her up at the same time every day, she wouldn't do that. I gotta go, I need to find my daughter." he said.

He didn't even wait for Layla or Cole to respond, he shot into the sky like a bullet shot from a gun. Tears were starting to form in his eyes as he thought about where you could be. 

"Where are you little bird... daddy is worried and he misses you." he said to himself through tears. 

Hawks spent the next 6 hours looking for you, but to no avail, you were nowhere to be found. He flew home, just to see if Layla had been right after all. Once home, he opened the door, calling for you.

"Keila? Princess are you here?!" he yells out.

He was met with nothing but silence. He put his back against the door, sliding down it as he cried. His pride and joy, gone in the blink of an eye. He sat & cried at the front door for about an hour before he got up. He knew what had happened to you, but he didn't know who or why they did it.

"Daddy will find you Keila, I promise. I won't stop until I know you're sa" he said.

He opened the door, going outside into the dark of night. He closed the door, taking to the sky once again, going to inform the other pro heroes & the police of your kidnapping.

Writer's note: Hope you enjoyed part 3! It's a bit shorter than the previous two parts, that's because I am going through some personal stuff right now & I'm not very focused on much, but I said part 3 would be out soon, so I wanted to get that out to you guys. Part 4 coming soonish!
