"Miss Grey!"

I turn around in the hallway at the sound of Derek's voice.

"Hold up for a second!" he says.

I smile as he approaches me.

"I had a question on the report you handed in."

"What about it?" I ask.

He leans into my ear. "Would you like to go out on a date with me on Saturday?"

I giggle. "What about the report?"

"Meredith.." he groans quietly.

I squeeze his hand reassuringly.

"Like a real date?" I ask.

"Mhm." he nods.

"What if anyone sees us?"

"They won't I promise."

"Where are we going?"

"Is that a yes?"

I chuckle. "Yes."

"Good. Now.. imagine I'm kissing your lips right this second."

I blush at the thought of kissing him in the hallway infront of everyone. "Where are we going?"

"Surprise baby." he whispers in my ear.

I groan quietly. "I hate surprises."

"Not this one you won't." he winks and walks away. I sigh frustrated and walk back to my locker. I pretend to not notice the looks I'm getting from Addison and Callie in the corner of my eye.

Saturday

I'm just finished with my makeup when he texts me that he's outside. A jolt of excitement travels through my body. I can't wait to see what he's planned for us. I put my lipgloss in my bag with the rest of my stuff before heading to the window, jumping out. I'm wearing a slippery white summer dress with tiny flowers.

I notice his car and jump in quickly. He kisses me on the cheek and scans my appearance.

"Wow.. don't you look lovely.." he says.

"Thank you.." I blush.

He smiles seeing the effect he has on me.

"You look handsome." I compliment him.

He's wearing dress pants and a white button up.

"Are we going somewhere fancy? Am I underdressed?"

"Relax baby." he strokes my cheek and starts the engine.

I keep looking at him as he starts driving. He gives me a side glance.

"No you're not underdressed, you're perfect. We're going to a low key place."

"Where is low key?"

He chuckles. "You'll see soon."

I sigh.

He drives us and we soon arrive outside his house. I can't help but laugh.

"What's so funny?" he asks amused.

"Nothing nothing.." I shake my head. "It's just your wild imagination for dates. The last time I visited this place was yesterday." I giggle.

"We're not having our date in my driveway Meredith." he chuckles.

"I'm just messing with you."

"I know you are. And we haven't actually arrived at our destination yet."
