FLASH BACK <3:
Its been three weeks of spending all your time at Boy's N' Grills, or at least, spending time with Bob. Your time at that fancy restaurant really sparked a fire in your relationship together, and while you two were friends you honestly felt like if you two continued like you were you both can be something more. But your mind wasn't focused on that; the feeling felt like it was wrong. Bob was a sweet guy who took care of you with caution - for a big dude like him he knew how to be gentle as possible as he could be, but you didn't know if you were ready for anything serious at the time. Sure, his grin gave you butterflies in your stomach, him giving you small sweet gifts like roses on your second hang out, and him giving you time out of his day to listen to your problems. He made you feel like you were visible; something you haven't experienced in a long time. You just didn't know how to handle it. All of this new attention got you feeling a roller coaster of emotions that you couldn't figure out yet. And when the next time you two talked he mentioned inviting you to his house to chill out, you freaked out. In your nervous state you blurted out a yes without a doubt in your mind. You ended up screaming in your pillow later that night. Well, now you made a promise to go to his house and there was no turning back from it. Pondering on what to do you'd figured that a way to return the favor for all he's done would to give him something meaningful. The question is, what would it be? Chocolates and flowers felt too cliché to give. Maybe something homemade? Yes! You just didn't know what. You weren't good at making crafts so you couldn't make something artsy from scratch- but your baking skills weren't half bad. As a kid you and your Nana cooked her family recipe cookies together whenever you got the chance to visit, she wanted you to pass her hard work and skill when you grew older. Her bakery back at home was a safe space whenever you needed time to yourself. It was ashamed that after she passed your father sold her shop, it was your dream to be able to take over the shop and continue to spread her love and skills to the people in town. You miss your Nana- so it was finally time to honor her legacy. You instantly got to work on those cookies...

You stood outside his front door as your hands hesitated to knock. You didn't know why you were so nervous, it was just Bob, you both hung out plenty times enough to feel comfortable with each other so you had no idea why you were so anxious. All the possible words you could say got stuck in your throat with each nerve inducing panic attacked you like a train wreck. With enough courage built up after a few minutes standing there you finally knocked on the door; soft and short like you always do. In a instant the door swung up with Bob on the other side already to greet you with his iconic smile- odd, was he just,, waiting at the door for you? He seemed to be comfy for the evening, wearing a cozy sweater that seemed to droop over his body comfortably, his glasses were crooked enough to fall off his face if he made one wrong move, and his pants were those typical plaid pants you see everyone wear ( weird how everyone just seems to own a pair ). You felt even more embarrassed about the whole situation- you didn't get the memo that it was causal as you stood there in your best outfit you quickly thrown together. "You look.. comfortable!" you muttered out with a slight cringe in your tone- why'd you say that?! "And you look perfect." He really knew his way of words. He welcomed you inside and into the warmth of his home, the whole place had that feeling of security to it. You placed the platter of cookies on the coffee table by the couch, looking at Bob for his approval to take a seat. "Why don't feel afraid Darlin'! Sit down and make yourself at home." Bob ushered you to sit while, not on purpose, aggressively plopping himself down on the couch in relaxation. He sighed with relief making the couch soft enough to sit down. His gaze fell upon the platter that was neatly placed on the table, "what in there?" He turned around to ask. "Well, I thought I'd return the favor for all those nice gifts you got me.. so I made you something special. At least, I think they are. They aren't much" removing the tinfoil on the top you revealed double chunky fudge cookies, one of your grandmas favorite recipes. His eyes widen with gratitude and a bit of hunger, you notice his mouth water a bit. "You made these yourself?" He grabbed a cookie as he spoke, you nodded as he took his first bite. "Yeah.. I'm not as good as my grandma at baking" He looked up at you after taking a bite: his eyes were filled with glee as he smiled. "This are amazing! Are you sure these aren't from the grocery store? Because they are pretty damn good" his mouth was full with the rest of the cookie as he spoke which made you giggle. "Nope, made these from scratch myself." You felt honored to know your baking was just as perfect as your grandmas; you knew she would be proud. You decided to take one, and then after one it became two, then two became 3, until you both were about to finish that entire platter. You two laughed at how you both didn't notice the amount of cookies you guys ate. By this point you and Bob were both close to each other on the couch just eating your sweet treats together. It wasn't until he stopped talking when you realized he was staring at you, had there been something wrong? "Hey,, are you ok? What's up?" You questioned as he continued to stare down at you, you never noticed how tall he was compared to you. "You.. you got something on your cheek Darlin'" his words surprised you. You didn't realize from the amount of snacking you did that you had a piece of chocolate chunk smeared on your cheek, making it worst, your cheeks burned with blush from your embarrassment. "Ah, sorry! I didn't realize I got too clumsy" you reached to wipe it off when he stopped you. "Let me get it" those words came out from him in such a soft tone you would never expect. His hand reached slowly to your cheek, almost like he was waiting for an okay from you. You nodded your head to show you had welcomed it. He placed his hand on your cheek, with the slightly movement he started to wipe it away. You both had red on your face- he was breathing heavily ever so slightly.

It was such a intense moment

It was such a intense moment. His breaths became quicker, "Oh darlin', you're so clumsy..it's so cute" he said under his breath. Oh my god. He was definitely making it hard not to fall in love with him- the way he looked made your heart beat like crazy with his eyes narrowed on you like that. His eyes were definitely trying to tell you something your brain tried to refuse to listen to, but you know the heart, it always goes against with logic. His thumb made its way to trace over your bottom lip, his mouth started to water more. His body language was like an animal about to pounce on its prey, and you knew exactly what he wanted. You shuffled back a little as your mind melted into putty - he snapped out of his trance and looked at you with concern. "Are you ok? Did I do something wrong?" He said as he pulled his hand away from your cheek. Your eyes shot up to meet with his, your lips parted a small gap as you took in shallow breaths, "I-I,, uhh,,, that was,," you put your hands on top of your forehead as you continued to mumble a string of stutters. You wanted to make a move, you didn't want him to stop, but your nervousness kept you from doing what your heart desired. He placed his hand on your back as he rubbed with care, his smile never left his face as he talked. "Hey, how about we watch a movie and see where things go.. ok?" You nodded in agreement as you got yourself back together. Putting on a random movie he sat back to 'watch', the only thing he was watching was you struggling with your enteral self whether you should make a move or not. After a while you moved closer to his side of the couch and laid your head on his shoulder. You could tell his smile widened with the small gesture. His hand slithered down and made its way to your hip to pull you closer to him. You tried your best not to scream with delight, but you knew that this night would be one to remember.
