Y/Ns perspective:
You had no idea what you just signed yourself up for with this deal. Was Bob too far from fixing with his hunger? The amount of people who went "missing" were high throughout those three years he has been missing from your life, who knows if it's too late now for him to change. It was either you becoming Bobs next victim or signing up for some stupid contract in order to survive, and you rather be serving memories while alive then hoping someone would pass your legacy, you wanted to live as long as your life could make it. His gaze never left yours as the two of you locked your eyes together to see what the other was thinking, you tried to search for anything but all it gave back was emotionless riddles that were hard to solve in that instant. "So- uh- c-can you let me go now? If we are going to start uhm...learning to control this hunger I need to get back to my house" you just wanted to get home to rewind yourself from todays events and go back on how it all started so you can avoid it later in the near future, maybe you should avoid helping with haunted houses for a while... "well, I can't just let you leave while alone when you are all injured- sorry by the way- here, if I just.." Bobs words felt distant once he swooped you by the waist to slung you over his shoulder. All you could feel was the radiant warmth that formed all on your face with this sudden act of kindness that Bob clearly was trying to swoon you over with. "You know I'm capable of getting home myself, you know?" It was sorta the truth, if you didn't mind stumbling and looking like a drunk crawling back to the bar for more, then yeah you could make it home. Somewhere deep inside you didn't want to admit it, but you were thankful for him offering to carry you home. Though- you didn't realize how much danger he's putting himself in, if someone notices him - especially carrying you in the manner he is-, they might call the police. You cling to Bob tight as your mind starts to wander into possible scenarios if the two of you weren't careful. But Bob was already two steps ahead of you with those thoughts, he slipped through the shadows and made it through behind house to house as quiet as a mouse, when you both reached your street you started to question how he knew where you live. After you got enough money you decided to move out of the house that once held painful memories that seemed to shimmered as the years went by. "H-how do you know where my street is?" You asked as politely as you could without having a hint of fear quiver out, you didn't want to make Bob anger, especially knowing what he's capable of. "I've kept a close eye on you, sometimes I get really lonely~" he purred as you gripped you tighter, you yelped slightly in shock, had he been stalking you? After finally making to your house he had you open your door and the two of you slipped inside. He gently placed you on your couch, "I'll be back soon. And if I catch you doing anything out of line.." he started to mess with his knife as he stared into your fear soaked eyes, you understood what he meant. "I'm just.. going to sleep" you mumbled as you grabbed your quilted blanket that hung on the couch and covered yourself enough to be warm, and with that, Bob left the house back into the autumns crisp yet mysterious night. You sighed deeply with exhaustion, you just wanted to sleep and go on with the next day like none of what has transpired ever happened today, you get cozy in your couch and start to drift off to sleep. Your eyes droop into a world of your dreams...
the past:
"Lila? Could you help me finish frosting these cookies, I'm too busy whipping up the next batch to get those ones done." You called from the kitchen as you slain on your labor, you were getting the last batch of cookies ready before your bakery's grand opening that was taking place at 12. You and Lila both started working on getting everything perfectly together around 4 am in the morning and the both of you were seriously tired from the amount of hard work put to set everything up. When everything had been settled you both check the place to make sure things were in tip-top shape to ensure a great impression on the customers who were dying to wander in the new shop opening. After it had been checked and done you both celebrated with some nice, hot chocolate from the espresso machine, it tasted like chocolate heaven when you took your first burning sip. Lila whined and blew a couple breaths as she also burnt her tongue in the process as she was too eggar to taste her sweet drink, you both laugh at each others clumsiness and continued to cheer each others work with sugary drinks and sweet conversations. "I'm really glad you agreed to helping me get this place all set to the public. You're a friend everyone needs in life" you said as you took a bite out a cookie you swiped from your last batch, she looked at you and smiled with pure happiness and affection. "I'd do anything to help with you, Y/N. You really helped with my life so it's only fair if I help with yours too. I'm glad to have you as a neighbor and a friend" her words struck your heart with joy, it honestly got your cheeks flared up as well, helping with taking care of Skid was one of your favorite things to do besides doing your favorite hobby of baking. But to you helping Lila wasn't a chore, it was an honor to help someone so passionate about her life and so grateful to be a mother. It made you flush with red just thinking about her adorable giggles whenever you and Skid play games with each other, or when she looks deeply into your eyes as you talk, it was hard to admit... but she made you forget about Bob for a second. The two of them were so alike you couldn't tell if the two of them were somehow related some how, but that was a theory you didn't quite ponder on as much. The two of you talked for hours until the ringing of your alarm indicated that it was time for your store to make its grand opening. Getting up from your chairs you both headed outside to greet the giant crowd that stood in awe with patience waiting for the doors to officially open. You smile at the sight of the crowd, you could tell your Grandma had been looking down at you from that very moment feeling proud that you too were able to finally make it to your dream. You could notice the different people that were faced in the crowd, you could notice Kevin with Streber as they waved at you with proud looks displayed on their faces, Skid and his friend Pump alongside Pump's sister and Grandpa stood in the crowd as the two boys both jumped up and down in excitement to get their hands on some cookies, Frank who pushed his way through to the front to try to be the first one in line, and strangely a man in a big red hoodie caught your attention as well as he stared at you with unknown intent. You quickly quieted the crowd and cleared your throat with anxiety making its way through your system, "I-I would like to announce the grand opening of.. the Sweet Treats Shop! Home of made fresh bakery and sugary drinks to get you through the day... the doors are now- open!" Lila helped you open the doors officially making the place open for the public. People quickly made their way inside to fill the empty spaces and crowd the place with lovely energy. You made yourself past the tight squeezes of people and went behind the counter to take the first persons order, and of course, it was Frank. "Heya Deary! I'll need about.. 10 of those cookies you got there and about 5 Large drinks of your finest Lattes" he chuckled out with pure trickery, you mentally groaned, it was going to be a long day. For what seemed like a internality you managed to get the day done and closed up for the night, Lila helped clean up some of the tables and put things in the dishwasher that needed to be clean, this time you both celebrated over a glass of wine. "I'm super proud of you Y/N, it was a rough day and you managed to get through it without a single crack! I wish I was like you when I was a freshly new mother." She giggled as you cheered your glasses together to take your first sip, "hey, this isn't as hard as being a mother. You gotta give yourself some props, you took care of Skid perfectly even after your husband.. well, you know." The subject of Lila's husband was a hard subject to swallow so you did your best to avoid talking about it as possible. "Yeah.. but again, I'm really proud of you Y/N. Cheers to being the first and best bakery in town" the two of you melted away with the night.KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Quick and nervous knocks filled the silence of the room which has startled you awake. You groggily got up from the couch and made your way to the front door, opening it just a crack to peek your head out you notice it had been Lila who seemed to be clutching Skid tightly in her arms. "C-could you.. come over for a bit? We can still watch some movies, I just, I can't be alone right now." Her stuttering caught you off guard, you never seen Lila this scared before- well, besides when that weird demon was in her house or when Skids doll had been possessed, but this was a new type of fear she's shown you. You gladly accept and headed over next door to her house, you both settled on her couch and started to play a movie on the screen to pass time, you checked your phone to notice that about 3 hours had passed since you were knocked out asleep.. what even happened? "Are you ok..?" You whispered as Lila seemed to rock slightly in her place, she looked at you with terror and a hint of guilt in her eye. "Well.. after Skid ran off with Pump I decided to get for tonight's movie night.. when this,, Red masked devil man stood across the street staring at me- the same one who tried to attack me a while ago." You remember Lila telling you that, she always tried to joke around about how different her voice sounded when she remembered it, but you knew she was still shaken up from that night. But that Red Devil.. you knew she was talking about Bob.. "And then he entered my house and almost killed me! And then he went after Skid and Pump- and eventually he found all of us.. and when he tried to cross he- he got hit by the police car." Your eyes widened at that sudden news, your heart dropped and you could feel tears welling in your eyes- holy shit, was he ok?? "And then.. he just came back again, over and over, it was like he was immortal.. until John and Jack finally shot up and ran him over for the last time and then he just.. died" your heart broke. You wanted to scream, you wanted to sob until the morning had peeped through, you wanted to just lay and wait for death to take your starving figure, you couldn't believe the sentences that Lila could just easily muster up. "And the worst part is.. I knew him" your thoughts stopped with a halt as you looked up at her. "Huh? You knew him..?" You placed a hand on her shoulder as she started to shiver. "He was- my uncle. I haven't seen him for such a long time- and just seeing him lying dead on the floor.. after trying to kill me and my son.. it was such a vivid dream. Something seriously wrong is going on in this town Y/N. And I don't know what's going to happen next." All of this was just too much to handle, Lila was related to Bob, Bob died just moments after he had seen you, and now.. there might be more to this twisted town. You start to question on why you even decided to settle on this town, almost like a magnetic force caused you to be here, you were playing a role in this sick disturbing story. "Let's just rest and get ready for the night, we got a long day tomorrow at the Café anyways." You did your best to comfort Lila, helping her to her room and tuckering her in as she was a child herself, you planted a kiss on her forehead to which made her smile a crack, you two weren't shy of giving each other kisses. "Sleep well Lila, I'm right next door if you need me." You wished her goodnight as you headed back to your home, strangely, the door had been unlocked. You didn't remember keeping it open after you left with Lila, you shrug and slip inside to get more rest. There was something off within the air of the house.. almost like you weren't alone. You decided to push that thought away and get a glass of water before heading to bed, slipping to the kitchen you grabbed a glass from the cupboard and poured your glass to your liking.
"Did you miss me, Darlin? I'm home"
Your spine shivered in horror, you dared to look behind you, and in your sight you dropped your glass to the floor causing it to shatter. It was Bob, all bloody with bullet wounds freshly pierced through his sweater, his grin never left. He was alive.Feeding my simps <3
