You didn't know how you convinced them otherwise but John and Jack eventually left your house after figuring you probably had no connection to this missing case, you could feel your cold sweat easing once you lessened your tension. "So I guess I'm wanted by everyone?" You heard Bob yell from upstairs with other noises fumbling around if he were digging through something, most likely to find a candy stash; you need better hiding spots. Your gut twisted with a taint of guilt, even though you wanted to protect Bob from any anger you felt terrible to lie so easily to your friends, that guilt was going to eat you whole sooner than later. "Well.. at least things won't get wors-." "Y/N!" Lila's words seemed to invade your thoughts, snapping you back into your cruel reality you immediately felt your hands grip the door knob to swing the door open- there was Lila who had a concern look piercing her face and what appeared to be her mood. "Lila- Hey! Uhm,, what's up?" You tried to causally lean against the door Frame, you absolutely failed miserably as you felt your body slowly make its way down, your body about to hit the floor made Lila even worse when it came to her worry. "I saw that Jack and John were over.. did something happen?" Her hands clamped over each other, your heart tightened noticing her nervous ticks start to overwhelm her systems. "They asked about that night.. Bobs body is missing." You didn't know if it was wise to mention to Lila that they suspected you in the disappearance but you knew it would end terrible if you did, it seemed like her world had crashed for a long second; it was like she was going through shock that struck her body from moving. "His body is.. gone?" Finally the words broke through those trembling lips of hers, you nodded your head somberly making your hand towards her shoulder, rubbing her shoulder she gripped your arm causing you to wince- the both of you heard loud squeaking, the pacing noises echoed clearly to the two of you. "What was that?" Lila's head tilted as she tried to peer inside which made you quickly block her view from the stairs, "I'm having rat problems! Hehe- uhm, I guess I forget to call the pest control." You nervously laughed with her pestering eyes narrowing towards you in suspicion. "Mhm.. just make sure the guy doesn't kill cats" she smiled happily as she hugged you- That was a close one. You angrily thrusted your head towards the stairs watching Bob carelessly stomp down those creaky weak stairs chewing on your now found stash of candy, he stopped his loud behavior to look at you with a smile, "you need to do a better job hiding your Stu-" "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING" starting off with a scream but decreased to silence worried you'd get worried neighbors again on your doorstep you shuffled over to him in a haste. "Lila heard your wandering around! You need to do a better job at being quiet- which for you.. it's a task that seems serious skill" your eyes filled with judgement, almost every where he goes he seems to make some sort of thundering clap. "Let's be honest darlin, when's the last time you had someone over that wasn't Lila?" Bob snickered watching your face turn pale, he really did confirm all suspicions of him stalking you. "You.. seriously freak me out- get upstairs while I make some lunch" you dragged your body into the kitchen groaning under your breath, Bob obeyed by heading to the bathroom to wash up. You knew this was going to be one hell of a time trying to keep him away from the eye of others.. and the unknown.
