Winter at this new town was brutal compared to what you were used to back at 'home'. The snow flakes fell calmly on the ground as the wind whipped throughout the air in violence. Bob was going to come over to your house today and you bit your lip nervously as you paced around the living room with pondering thoughts. You had a winter jacket, but it wouldn't prepare you for the attack of that icy breeze that patiently waited for you outside. It was almost mocking you in a way, with the wind screaming outside your windows. You almost considered calling and let him walk in the freezing cold while you waited for him inside the comfort of your home- but you wouldn't do that to him. You eventually sighed in defeated; you had to go out and walk with him. You threw on your jacket and other winter attire and walked out into the cold night. You were shivering the entire time heading up to Boys N' Grills, practically collapsing on to the counter once you made it inside. Bob walked out from the back as he took his apron off and looked down on your trembling mess of a cold body. "Rough walk up here, huh Darlin'?" He asked as he sat next to you on the stool as he fixed his messy hair. "Yeah, I felt like I was going to die" you managed to mutter out from your chattering teeth, Bob laughed at your current state. "Hey, I have an idea." Getting up from his seat Bob started to lift his sweater up which caused a quick reaction from you "WAH- what are you doing!?" You blurted out in a nervous panic thinking he was stripping in front of the other customers in the room, though, the customers only focus was on your stuttering mess as you freaked out. He had a black turtle neck under his sweater, guess he always comes prepared. Handing you his sweater his grin lifted, "take my sweater. It'll stop you from all your shivering, my deary~" you couldn't believe that you let this man get you twice, first his jacket, now his sweater? You frowned like a child about to cry in a candy shop. "No- Bob, if you think you will get me to wear your sweater you'll be thinking otherwi-"
He was really good at persuading you. He knew how to wrap you around his finger - it made you flush with embarrassment just thinking how easy it was for you to listen to his demands. "Lighten up Darlin!~ you look so adorable" he rubbed your shoulder in reassurance, but did little to no help making you feel less embarrassed about the whole ordeal. The walk to your house was awfully silent, you two always blabbered about almost anything, tonight just seemed to be different. It wasn't a bad kind of silence but more of a silence where wanted emotions are blocked from being said. You kept glancing up at Bob to try and read his face, his face was unreadable, his poker face must of been good. After a long amount of silence you eventually both made it to your home. Bob took a look around in awe as he slipped off his boots, "you are right. This house is pretty good for being almost dirt cheap" a slight chuckle made its way through his words. You sat down on the couch and groaned while Bob made his way around looking at all the photos and decorations sprinkled around the living room. His heavy steps creaked through the old floorboards with each inspection he took at your pictures. He picked up a picture of you when you were a child, you wore your favorite Halloween costume with the biggest smile on your face, in the picture there had been a tear that covered the face of the person standing before you. "Hey, why's the picture all torn?" He spun around to show you the childhood photo you had tucked away somewhere behind your happiest moments. "Oh.. thats a picture of me when I was 6. That was my favorite costume, and I figured I keep it as a memory to remember." You got nervous that he would try and talk about who else was in the photo with you. You did like that photo, just not the person alongside with it. "Hey- let's make some cookies! Perfect weather for some bakery and hot chocolate. Isn't it?" You changed the subject while getting yourself up from the couch in a tender stretch, Bobs focus on the photo left behind as his eyes widened at the idea of baking cookies. He rushed over to you and swooped you up in one hug, you were spun around the air which made you scream with worry, he put you back down and laughed with Excitement. "Sorry darlin'~ I just love the idea of baking with you!" He sweated as he comforted you as you stood in shock, you never thought he would do something like that before. "That was.. really adorable" you snorted, giving him a light punch on the arm. His face lit up like a fire that spread all across his face. They had to be his. Only his. You were his. You and only you.
