Chapter 09 (Part 01): The Day

A week passed in the bat of an eye and somehow after all the chaos, things turned relatively calm. Bright was given a vacation two days prior to the mission and once the mission was done, he will be reporting to work after two days too so along with the mission day, he had a total of five days off which was the longest vacation Bright have ever got for far as he can remember.

Bright yawned loudly as he abused Win's lips early in the morning while the boy was still asleep which earned him a good smack on the head from Win as the younger one got up groaning.

"You horny as the first thing in the morning, Vachirawit?"

Win sleepily glared at Bright as he opened the eyes to meet a pouting Bright and the elder boy whined

"It was a morning kiss..."

"That needy?"

Win grinned to which Bright's eyes glistened and then added

"I am always needy around you but today I was excited thinking about the mission."

At first, Win didn't seem to register any of it as he was still drowsy but a moment later, color drained to his eyes.

"Oh right..."

Win was almost grinning at the claim of their sneaky mission as how they called it and Bright chuckled softly before he placed another sound kiss on Win's cheek.

"I feel so much at peace after the two days of vacation."

He said spreading his arms on the bed intentionally, swatting it on Win's face and Win slapped the hand away as he said comically

"You can rest in peace forever if the mission goes wrong, tonight."

"At least you will be coming with me."

Bright replied with a little laughter gurgling at his throat and he could hear Win giggle.

"Never knew the sound of dying together was that romantic."

"We need help, I swear..."

Bright muttered as he suddey wrapped his arms around Win and locked the boy into his embrace and then cuddled his face in Win's body as his muffled voice muttered

"Lemme sleep a little bit more."

"Such a cute baby..."

He could hear Win mutter back sarcastically before he closed his eyes again and fell asleep, with Win's scent invading his whole system.

Win has really become his home.

In contrast to the really adorable morning, Bright and Win had grown super nervous when they finally decided to enter the Impact Arena about one hour before the concert started and they had to admit, they had never been that overwhelmed for any mission before.

For sure, Gulf's fans seemed scarier to Bright and Win than the knives and guns. Not to get it wrong, the girls and boys were nice but one bad word about Gulf inside that air would get you killed.

"At least we are both fans of him so we won't badmouth him."

Win said as he nervously gripped Bright's hand taking a deep breath and Bright looked back at the boy with a chuckle that was not so chuckly at the same time.

"One thing to be glad about today. At least we won't be dying by their hands."

They didn't need tickets as Gulf had already given them the free passes which actually allowed them to go to the backstage as well and that was where the two boys were headed to.
