"uhhh my head what happened?" I say as I wake up, my mind was fuzzy like I had been hit with a car.
"ah your awake good now I can have some answers" the new voice startled me as I quickly sit up from a bed.
"W-what the were am I?" Looking around me I'm in some kind of nurses office with 4 cots and the usual stuff you would see in a Doctor's office.
Turning to the voice I just heard I'm greeted by the same faceless women from before."To answer your question to were you are currently you are in our home" looking at the woman she's sitting cross legged on a chair give feet from the bed I'm currently laying in.
"What do you mean our home?" I ask while slowly sitting up off the cot.
"I mean the home of all my subordinates, myself and if you answer my questions to my liking yours as well" she states while leaning towards me slightly.
"now your going to explain why you were in my territory and how you killed something like the Rake and if you lie I will kill you its simple" her tone leaving no room to argue.
"oh and I can tell if you lie so I recommend telling the truth". She says flatly.
'shit this is bad I'm to weak to summon anything to help me escape shit what do I do!' I think nervously.
"What you should do is answer my questions and just to make it very clear you would be dead before you got out of the bed,you are quite weak compared to anyone here" looking up at the tall women who just answered my thoughts I sigh seeing no other way out of this situation alive.
"ok fine, I'll tell you everything I know, but please keep this between us" I ask, she seemed to ponder my request before nodding
"thanks, alright I guess I should start from the beginning then right?". I say taking a deep breath.
30 minutes later:
"And then I woke up here talking to you, satisfied?" I ask her finishing my story
"indeed that does explain a lot, good choice not lying to me" she says while leaning back in her chair.
"so what now, are you going to kill me or what?" I ask curiously I mean there's not much I can do here I'm tired as hell so useing my powers are a no go and I'm in their home terf so I'm kinda out of options.
" No I won't kill you and since you know who we are and our faces you will be staying here from now on I won't risk you telling the public about us, you see we don't really want to be found and are quite happy not being harassed by humans" she says standing up.
"wait your forcing me to live here isn't that a bad idea since I attacked that girl named Jess?,and what's the deal with killing people and keeping all of you a secret?" I ask kinda lost.
"To answer your first question I'll say this ,yes you will be living here for the foreseeable future and you will have to patch things up with her and introduce yourself to the others living here, and too your second question I'll make it simple, you humans have hurt most of the people who live here in various horrible ways and the only way we can have a somewhat normal life with the powers and deformitys we have is to stay undetectable and we kill anyone who looks for us and our existence is that clear?" She explains as I slowly get out of the hospital bed.
"yeah I guess" I reply.
"Good now let me show you to your room once you get settled I want you to introduce yourself to the others, also a few of us are out on a mission and won't be back for a few days so you'll have to introduce yourself to them as well when they return, follow me". She finishes while gesturing me to follow.
