'PAIN! PAIN! PAAAAAAIIIIIIIN!!'

'I-IT BUUUUUHRRRRRN'S!' I scream to myself.

The pain was like putting a red hot iron in my eyes and acid in my veins it was incomprehensible, I experience this pain while floating in a endless black void with no light in sight it was just me and this unyielding PAIN!. I'm unsure how long I've been here it feels like hours and the pain hasn't lessened at all only increased, I feel like I'm going insane, then in a flash everything changed.

I found myself in my home sitting at the table with my parents and sister eating dinner, " so how was the fireworks kids?, I only cought a bit of them while driving through town" my father asks while smiling at me.

Shaking the weird feeling I had away I smile "not bad me and Lisa had a great time, although I wish the weather wasn't so cold though" I reply before taking a bite out of a stake.

"hahaha well that'll teach you for not bringing warmer clothes" my mother laugh's, I grin at her joke and continue eating.

"hay you guys smell something burning" I ask curiously.........strangely I don't receive an answer when I look up from my food my world stops......my parents......they.....they w-were.....

Again I find myself somewhere different I'm now in a frozen wasteland devoid of all life and about 15 feet with their back turned was a person, the moons light illuminating them in a nightly glow, they wore a dark black cloke that flowed in the cold wind, slowly I approach the figure my feet crunching under the snow.

"Who are you" I ask.....I receive no answer.

"hay did you hear me who are you?!" I ask again rasing my voice slightly doing this gets the figures attention and they turn around and i see their face.

It's a mass of writhing blood and eyes but before I could scream it spoke!.

"Do you deserve to live?" It asks me with a warped voice.

deserve to live?' I think to myself confused before I'm thrown into the void again but this time floating around was what looked to be fuzzy screens of a TV and then all at once they turned on, it was blurry at first but then I could see what was being shown......my life was all In front of me, my mistakes, my failures........everything especially my failure to save Lisa and my mother in the fire, seeing this all Infront of me was to much and I broke down crying and began questioning myself.

"Do I deserve to live?"

"I've never accomplished anything noteworthy in my life"

"I can't save anyone......"

"I-I killed an innocent man....."

"M-Maybe........I don't deserve to live..."

Slowly I began to close my eyes to except death but as my eyes were about to close I saw a faint light. Opening my eyes back up I found myself standing on a moonlit beach, the sound of waves gently hitting it's sandy shore.

"Where am I" I ask before suddenly the scene changed and I found myself standing in my houses kitchen. The warm sun bleeding into its interior.

"David remember to get your jacket" my mother's voice says causing me to almost fall over. Walking out of the kitchen I see myself and Lisa standing at the back door bundled up in snow gear, I was visibly younger probably in my early teens with a younger Lisa.
