I find myself infront of another door leading to my next housemate.
"Whats behind door number two?" I say to myself as I knock on the door......only to receive no response I knock again too no avail.
Assuming nobody is in I turn around to leave but before I can move I hear a faint click noise coming from the door.
'okay maybe their just shy?' taking this opportunity I slowly open the door and gaze Into the room.
It looks like a gamers dream a high end PC sits in a corner with 2 monitors, and sitting on the wall sits a huge flat screen TV,and on a stand connected to the TV is a BUNCH of game consoles.
'Well someone likes their games damn' I think to myself as I look at a few posters of games.
"hay is anyone in here?, sorry I barged in I was told by Slenda to introduce myself to everyone.....hello?" I ask around the room.
Maybe they aren't here and I'm just intruding in their room, and like a crazy person I'm talking to myself in a dark room.
'alright on to the next room then' but again before I could turn to leave the TV switches on by itself.
The screen showing static lighting up the dark room the sudden light made me wince unsure of the sudden activation of the TV I go to get a closer look......."BOOO!"
a voice behind me yell's behind me scarring me so much I nearly activated my powers.
Turning fast I'm greeted by a short girl dressed in a Link cosplay pointy ears and all.
Seeing my surprised reaction the short girl started laughing "ahahahahahaha you should have seen the look on you're face it was priceless ahahah!" the laughing carried on for a few more seconds before dieing down.
"You done....?" I ask folding my arms while looking down at the strange girl.
Getting off from rolling on the ground laughing she grins at me "yeah I'm done, names Benny nice to meetcha!" Sighing I introduced myself as well
"my name's David, I assume you heard I'm New here and that Slenda told me to meet everyone?" Benny nods at me as she hops on her bed and pulls out a game boy "do you play games?" She asks looking at me.
"nah not that much anymore with all that's been going on and the fact I was a senior in school it's unlikely I will in the future sadly" saying this seemed to sadden her.
"dang that's a buzz kill I hoped you would be a gamer like me, shit". Seeing the situation turning sour I have an idea.
"Hay if ya want I'll play with you from time to time when I can okay since I'm kinda stuck here at the moment, sound good?" I say trying to salvage the mood.
Saying this seemed to reinvigorate her as she grins at me.
"ha thanks nobody here really plays games and it gets kinda boring being the only one here who plays" smiling at her I go to leave the room to the next resident. "no problem, alright I'ma go still need to meet the others seya Benny" I walk out the door as I hear her response.
"yep I'll let you know when I wanna game ok, also try not to get killed the others might not be as nice to you as me and Clocky". Her saying that makes me kinda nervous.
Alright door number 3 let's get this over with I'm sure she's waiting for me to enter already so let's do this' I say as I stand in front of a black door labeled 'Jess'. I go to knock on the door but before my hand touched the door I'm dragged into the room and slammed into the wall.
"H-hay Jess" I say to the woman who is currently glaring at me while holding me against the wall by my throat.
" Can it you I know why you're here Slenda told you to introduce yourself to everyone didn't she?" She asks sounding annoyed.
"yeah she did now can you please let go of me it's kind hard to breathe?" Ignoring my plee for air she pulls out her knife and points it at my face!.
"I'm not letting you go until you answer my questions got it!" She says angrily.
"h-hay take it easy ok,what do you wanna know?". Seeing I'm willing to talk she lessons the hold on my neck.
"I want to know if you're a threat to everyone here and if you intend on hurting anyone, and how you managed pull of that light show last night?!" She asks angrily to me.
"Ok-Ok but only if you let me go!" I raise my voice a bit to get the point across, looking at her she glares at me and sighs before letting go of my neck and backing up form me.
"Thanks" I say rubbing my now sore neck, looking toward Jess I noticed that we're not alone the clown girl from last night is also in the room sitting on her bed grinning at the situation.
"To answer your first question no I don't intend to hurt anyone here I'm only interested in finding my sister, and for your second question it's a bit more complicated, my powers are kinda new to me and I'm still working on controlling them" I explain hopefully satisfying her
"That's good enough I guess and since Slenda hasn't killed you yet it means you're telling me the truth" hearing her words makes me sigh in relief.
At least now I know I won't be killed by her, "oh before I forget I never got your name?" I ask the monochrome clown girl. Smirking said girl gets up and bows slightly, "I go by Jill nice to meet ya sword boy" she says smiling.
"Sword boy?" I ask with a confused look.
"yeah you were swinging that sword of yours around quite a bit while you were fighting Jess so I'll call you 'Sword Boy' ".
'a nickname? That's a new one' I think to myself.
"uhh ok I guess I don't mind if you called me that but just so you know my name is David, and sorry for almost blowing you up".
Talking about the fight seemed to regain Jess's attention "yeah about that you're not gonna go and blow up again are you I'd rather not get thrown like a ragdoll again". She says rubbing her arm.
"No don't worry I definitely learned my lesson on doing that for the time being, it hurt pretty bad doing that and it was completely unintentional on my end sorry about that" I apologize, surprisingly Jess just nodded in understanding.
" I guess I can give you a pass on that since you're clearly new to your powers, but if you plan on becoming a light show again try to warn us first, but enough of that you should go talk to the others okay". She says walking over to the bed and pulling out her phone.
"Ya your probably right I still need to meet Slenda in her office later too so I should hurry up as to not keep her waiting, seya later" saying my goodbyes I leave the room and stand back in the lage hallway.
I make my way down to the end of the hallway and start to hear noise coming from downstairs it sounds like everyone else is down there. "Welp time to meet the rest of the gang".
