Smut!! Again!

Naerys wasn't scared; she was angry. With the audacity Aemond seemed to possess, his lack of commitment to an oath. He heard her say she would fight him yet he still wanted to play with her.

Vermithor and Naerys worked as a team to navigate the storm and avoid Vhagar whenever she flew towards them from the clouds. Naerys pulled on the rope and saddle, and Vermithor responded quickly.

Aemond was still laughing and following her on Vhagar, leaving a little bit of room each time he taunted Naerys. Room for her to react.

"Who is your betrothed?!"

He was still stuck on that minute detail. Naerys didn't understand it. If he was going to be a hypocrite, she didn't want to hear about it.

"Why does it concern you? You want to fight, we will fight."

Naerys angrily pulled Vermithor to the side as she saw a canyon below them. It was too small for him to fit down but it had to mean there was more rock around, somewhere to land and fight him.

She squinted her eyes and leaned down, scanning the rock below. Naerys saw it just as Aemond came for her again on Vhagar.

It was an overhang. A little crevasse in the side of the rock formation that could protect them from the rain. If she landed Vermithor on top, she could make it down there. If Aemond truly wanted to fight her, he would follow.

Quickly, Naerys looked back and yanked up on Vermithor's rope, pulling him out of the way of the other dragon. She had him circle the spot she wanted him to land and led him down towards it.

"Vermithor, land!"

The dragon roared but followed her command, slowly lowering himself onto the very top layer of one-half of the canyon. As soon as she felt his feet touch the rock, Naerys unchained herself from him and leaned forward.

"Stay! Do not attack!"

As quick as she could, Naerys climbed down the side of her dragon, missing a few rungs of the rope, and dropped onto the rock.

It shook as she made for the nook she'd seen and without having to look, Naerys knew Vhagar landed. With quick movements, Naerys got to the edge of the canyon and carefully climbed down into the small cave. She was finally shielded from the rain.

Soaking wet and feeling rage, Naerys unsheathed her sword and paced the cave, twirling the steel in her hands as she waited for Aemond.

She stopped pacing when she saw his legs swing down into the cave. Naerys held her head high as she gazed at him, waiting for him to orient himself.

When Aemond was steady and wiped his eyes, he found her in the cave immediately. It was infuriating to her, the smug smile on his face.

"A night together was not sufficient enough to afford me the simplest of information? You rejected my offer of betrothal. Who is it?" Aemond reached down and pulled out his own sword, tossing it and catching it.

Was that truly his doing? Naerys assumed it had been Alicent to suggest it, to accept the offer she'd denied when the children were younger.
