Bravery

I am brave when

I use the gift of speech

and dare to trust others

with matters of the heart

I am brave when

I dare to stand out

and dare to speak out

against injustices

I am brave when

I accept failure

as a part of life.

and learn to try

again.

I am brave when

I accept help from others.

and learn to forgive myself

if I can't help everyone.

I am brave.
