I was getting ready to go to the Sturniolos' house for dinner. Chris had told me it's time to tell his parents about us. His parents think me and him are just friends, but little do they know we've been dating for 6 months. Chris is the reason I have gotten through everything and I don't know what I would do without him. His parents have met me a lot, since I go to visit the triplets almost every week.

I feel terrified to tell their parents though. It was scary enough telling Matt and Nick, they ignored me for a week after I told them. But now they see that me and Chris truly do love each other and they support our relationship. But what if his parents don't? What if they think I'm a bad person? What if they never allow us to see each other?

Matt messaged me that he's outside. I quickly pick up my bag and leave my apartment. I'm wearing a knee-length baby blue flowy dress with puffed sleeves and Doc Martens.

"Hey y/n, you ok?" Matt asked after seeing my expression as I got into the car.

"I'm fine, just a bit nervous."

"Don't worry, my parents already love you, I'm sure they'll be happy about it."

We keep talking until we get to their house, and then Matt unlocks the door. I see Nick and he runs over to hug me.

"Don't worry." He whispers in my ear. I let go and see Chris.

"Hey y/n." I quickly give him a hug and then go to greet his parents.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Sturniolo, thank you so much for having me for dinner!" I shake Mr Sturniolo's hand and then Mrs Sturniolo brings me into a hug.

"Anytime y/n! The boys have been waiting for you!" She says and lets go.

"You guys can sit at the table, I'll go and get the dinner." Says Mr Sturniolo. Mrs Sturniolo leads me to the dining room, and sits me down at the table. Chris sits opposite me, Matt sits next to him and Nick sits next to me.

Mr Sturniolo brings out a dish of Chicken Parm and a bowl of Gnocchi. Justin follows behind and brings a bowl of salad and multiple dressings.

"Hey y/n." Justin says to me. I nod at him. Me and Justin were never really close, I only spoke to him if I ever saw him when I come over.

"Dad, I'm going out but I'll be back by 11." Justin says to his dad and then walks off.

"So, how are you y/n? How are your sisters? Are they coping fine?" Mrs Sturniolo asks while filling up everyone's plates.

"They're doing well. Millie occasionally asks questions about Mum and Dad and how they died but Chloe doesn't really care either way."

We then eat our food and then Chris speaks.

"Mum, Dad, me and y/n have something to tell you."

"What's that?" Mr Sturniolo asks curiously.

"Well, we're dating." Chris says.

Mr and Mrs Sturniolo look at each other and smile. Nick glances at Matt and they both look happy as well.

"We're so happy for you! We always thought y/n is a great person." Mr Sturniolo says.

"Thank you so much Mr Sturniolo." I say.

"You can call us Jimmy and Marylou, y/n. " Mrs Sturniolo says and smiles at me.

We all keep talking and eventually it's time to go.

"Thank you for having me, I hope to see you soon." I say to Marylou.

I'm the luckiest person in the world to have these people in my life.
