"Class we're getting a new transfer student today and please make him feel welcome, you can come in." The class holds their breathe when the classroom door slides open before gasping when the person had to bend down to get through the door, like some monster coming through it. He straightens back up when he stands next to the teacher showing how much a giant he is as a lazy grin sit on his mouth, the teacher asks him to introduce himself to the class.
"Hanma Shuji, please take care of me." Plain and simple as he bows to the class before being assigned to a desk in the back so he doesn't block anyone's view and sensei begins to teach his class. While half listening to the teacher I look through the papers the guy had given me with my schedule to see my locker stuff, a paper that's needs signing which I quickly did, and a paper with a note saying I must apply for a club at the end of the week which causes me to sigh in despair since I have to go the schools office after classes to get a list of clubs the school has and see which ones that have space for me to join. Without another glance or thought I push the papers aside and take out a notebook to take notes, classes pass like normal along with lunch and before I know it the bell rings notifying everyone that's school has ended for the day.
"Why hello, it's nice seeing you again." I had just started making my way to the school office after putting my things into my bag when a running tangerine had collided into me and caused him to fall to the floor, I simply picked him up like a child which made him freeze with a confused face making me laugh before putting him on his feet again and started speaking which seems to snap him out of his daze.
"What?" He stands there dumbfounded while looking up at me.
"I said it's nice to see you again but I have to get going before I'm late for work, see you around." I give him a smirk and a wave before continuing my way to the office after hearing him taking off again and I guess to gossip to his friends about seeing me again, which wouldn't surprise me knowing how Hinata is.
"Hello, I need a list of clubs." I politely demand from a teacher sitting at a desk with black hair and glasses.
"Oh of course." He hands the paper over which I place it with the rest I have been giving this morning which stayed in my hand the whole day so I don't lost them in my messy bag, I speed my way out of the school and down the hall to Sakanoshita Market to see a friend of Ukai managing the store.
"He's out but he'll come back later." He said before leaving the store in my hands, I throw my bag into a chair in the back while leaving the paper on the edge of the counter and put on the green apron before looking around to make sure everything is in order. A while later I'm re- stocking some shelves and I didn't see or hear Ukai return to the store so I didn't know he was watching me, suddenly a glass bottle on the top shelf slides off since it was to close to the edge and me putting things on causing the shelf to move. I quickly grabbed it when I saw in the corner of my eye and put it back.
"How was your first day of school?" I jumped at the sudden voice only to sigh in relief when I see Ukai standing next to the counter.
"Boring like always." I stand from my seat on the floor and fold the empty box before putting it with rest before the store doors slides open and two people from yesterday reappears.
"Hey!" Hinata jumps up excitement at finding me right as I return to the front of the store.
"You play volleyball?" He basically shouted as the blueberry next to him stands in silence but I can see his narrowed eyes are analyzing me.
"Nope, never have." I answered honestly with a rised eyebrow at his question.
"You should join the volleyball club!" His hazel eyes filled with determination at getting me to join.
"How tall are you?" Blueberry demand an answer which I easily give him causing his eyes to go slightly wide.
'If Blueberries and Tangerines had a personality it would be these two.'
"I'll think about it." I give the two an answer just to get them to go away which they did after buying a meatbun and I sighed in relief.
'These two kind of remind me of Mikey and Draken.'
"You really should think about it." Ukai breaks me out of my thoughts when I'm pulling off the apron.
"Maybe." I said with a smirk after grabbing my things before walking out the sliding doors and walk home. Once inside my apartment I throw my bag onto the couch as my papers on the coffee table before change out of my school uniform and into some comfortable clothes after a nice shower, I fix myself a simple dinner which I eat while doing the homework I have been given before looking over the list of clubs.
"There's nothing fun." I glare at the paper.
'Well I do have the end of this week to make a decision before I have to turn the paper in, let's see if this club is worth my time.'
A smirk is placed on my face as I pull up a browser on my computer to study the rules and stuff that's included in volleyball.
'If I do end up joining this club I can imagine Darken will laugh his ass off once he finds out.'
