"Huh? You wanna adopt?"
"Indeed. I heard that your orphanage
was looking for candidates.You see, my wife and I-"
"Yeah, sure. Take whichever one you want." says the Orphanage Director

Anya and I were playing around on the floor when we heard the Orphanage Director and a young man's voice

"Pardon me. If possible, I'd like
a child who can read and write." The young man says as he starts nearing our location in the Orphanage

"Well, in that case... Hey, Anya (Y/N) there the smartest ones we've got. They don't talk much but there good kids" The Orphanage Director responds as they stop a few feet away from my sister and I

He's quite tall with blond short hair parted to the the side. He wears a green suite with a red tie and he holds a tan hat

"Six! Were six" my sister says gently grabbing my hand and pulling me up with her and standing on her tippy toes

She turns and walks to the near by table taking me with her. She grads a crossword from a magazine and whispers to me. "Show them you can write (Y/N)"

I nod and grab a near by piece of paper and a pencil and begin to write something simple. My writing isn't the neatest but I have great spelling so I decided to write some words and the definition of the words

The man slowly walked up to my sister and I. My sister had finished the cross word and I was writing down my last definition.

I look over at the man. He was wearing a surprised look on his face but it slowly turned into a conflict face and he seems to be thinking.

"I'll take her" says the man... gesturing to my sister Anya.

I stare into the man's eyes with my own teary eyes and ask

"w-what about me?"
