Today at breakfast I saw a big white dog in the Orphanages yard he seemed to be hiding? Or playing but I saw his owner along with a few other dogs on leashes getting him out of the yard and walk away
Weird I don't see that everyday . . . . Later on that day a few kids got adopted we all walked them out and wished them a good and happy life with there new family
But today a new kid was also dropped off
It was a girl with blond and short hair and pretty green eyes they reminded me of my sisters eyes She looked a bit younger than me and was smaller than me as well
She seemed very sad as she hunger her head low when entering the orphanage
I felt really bad for her she must have gone through a lot
So me along with a see of the older kids in the orphanage got together and decide to make her feel welcomed
Being kicked out of your home and coming to a strange place you don't feel welcomed to is hard for a child so we made it our duty to make her feel at home like we've done for all the kids here
We all walk up to her but she gets startled
Now I'm not the best at socializing but I need to push that aside to make her feel better
"Hey there your new right? Here let us introduce ourselves and we'll show you around too okay!" I say in a soft voice to not startle her even more and she gives me a small nod
We all introduce ourselves and we begin to show her to her room, the kitchen, the lounge room and the yard
As we're walking around she doesn't say anything but nod and okay with her hands
I remembered something Anya used to do that will calm my nerves
"Hey you still look a bit scared do you wanna hold my hand?" I ask her with a smile and hold out my hand
She gives me a bright smile in return and hold on to my hand and stands close to me
We then introduce her to all the other kids in the Orphanage and she introduces herself as well clearly not feeling as nervous as he was before
