I quickly grab Kaylee's hand and scurry out of the cafeteria

"Whoa slow down (Y/N) I'm gonna drop my food"Kaylee says trying to balance her food tray
"Hey are you okay? Why are we running? Did I embarrass you I'm sorry I didn't mean to–well I also didn't think you would yell that loud"

She says out of breath as we arrive at the library

"Um–yeah I was just really embarrassed, you just startled me c'mon let just go eat now"I say pulling her in to the library

Anya pov

'If I get a dog maybe the second son will invite me and papa to his hou–'

*oh no I hope she didn't hear me*

I hear a familiar voice

"(Y/N)?"I say looking over to where I heard the voice and I saw a pink head of hair

The Second son then looked over at me stunned the sadness and walked away

*(Y/N) got adopted*
I read the seconds sons mind

Later that day thankfully I didn't run into  or see Anya or Damian

The end of the school day was nearing and we had one last short break
And Kaylee wanted to show me something that was a few classes down the hallway from ours

Taking my hand she guides me through the semi-busy hall

We were about to turn a corner when I heard someone call out

"Anya? I thought you went to the restroom"

Look over to the voice and see that same brown haired girl with the pig tails and purple scrunchies

"(Y/N) do you know her? Who's Anya?"
Kaylee let's go of my hand and looks over at me

"Um I-"
I was about to respond with something and if things couldn't get any worst I hear a familiar voice come from behind the brown haired girl
