I got my makeup set up to look terrifying and completely unlike anything I'd ever do. As I applied to finishing touches. My door slammed open once more. "Omg you look banging!" I turned to see my little sister smiling there. She was danced up as a descendant character. "You're not allowed at adult parties!" She snorted. "Please like I'd go to a party with you!"
She rolled her eyes and smoothed down her blue hair. "I'm always in character!" Oh please.
She was really taking this spoiled kid to a whole new level. As I realigned my crown I walked out the door and into the hall as Ryatt and my mom stood against the wall. "Omg you look amazing!" I screamed as she smiled wide.
"You look so grown up." I snorted. "shut up!" I blushed and tried to calm my cheeks. Ryatt smiled and stared at me.
"You look gorgeous!" I smiled wide. He really was the most kindest man! As we left I saw a car full of girls and a few guys lean out of an SUV "Wow awesome costume!" The vampire girl screamed at me. "Thanks." She looked me up and down and then at Ryatt.
"Michael omg you look so hot!" I smiled as Ryatt touched my back and guided me to follow him. As we walked toward the SUV I saw her. The girl with long black hair and the bluest eyes I'd ever seen.
"Hello Ryatt!" His hand moved as if he was startled to see her. "Hello Melissa!" He spoke with a calm voice but beneath it was tension and confusion. She looked like a freaking model and was dressed to the dine. She was dressed as a angel with wings on. The wings were attached the dress and fell down behind her knees. The dress was white and was short. It frilled out on top and on the bottom.
"How nice you brought your sister?" She said with a smile and narrowed eyes.
"Melissa shut up!" Ryatt said as he pushed me to his car. I almost tripped as he apologized. I guess seeing his ex really was upsetting. "So that's your ex huh?" He nodded and opened the door. "Let's have a good night!" I smiled as she guided me into the car. He looked back at Melissa as she bounced on her heels and smiled at Ryatt. "Tension!" I thought to myself. They had a lot of it good or bad.
As we got into the cars. I noticed a figure moving along the woods. It was large and was dark. It moved with a lot of speed. It gave me an eerie feeling. "Hey do you see that?" I asked Ryatt as he got into the car. He looked at the woods and shook his head. "No sorry!" I nodded and looked back seeing nothing. The figure or shadow had disappeared. This was the second time I'd seen something.
As we drove off. I looked back at Ryatt as he held my hand and put it to his lips. "Do you still love her?" he sighed and shook his head. "I did at one time. She cheated on him and broke my heart. She may have surprised me but trust me darling. We are over!" I nodded and trusted him but I hope I wasn't making a bad decision. I hated that only today I thought he was perfect. Now I was worried. How fast a wind knocks you off your feet. I just smiled and looked out the window and bit at my lip.
As the lions lined the trees. They became hungrier and hungrier. They had been eating squirrels and other foods but it wasn't enough. They needed more food. The needed what was in those moving things. They smelt good. They smelt like food. They licked at there lips and grunted and moved slowly among the trees. They followed the cars. As they ran they followed the unknowing and innocents children.
It was going to be bad. When the humans and lions collided it will be chaos and bloodshed!!!
