24: The sea witches

You thought you were in a sewer. Where the hell are you now? A maze basically. The wall's a metallic white, giving you a vibe that you wouldn't have gotten from being in a sewer. In front of you, Funneh leads the way- holding onto her trusty flame thrower that she had stole from the doorway earlier. Funneh called herself the.. quote on quote 'Maze master' which despite it sounding really stupid and dumb.. she was surprisingly correct and got the both of you out in about.. uh..

Since Gold (the only one who wears a watch) is gone, you don't really have a sense of time.. oh my god, what time even is it? "Aw gee, another room" Funneh points out, pointing at another door. "This is really starting to feel repetitive" Funneh mumbles, you forgot to mention that you had been opening way too many doors during your 'adventure' in the maze earlier. You open the door for the hundredth time revealing.. An.. elevator? "Wha?? An elevator?  never mind- didn't expect that!" Funneh exclaims, excited that it was going to be another place she had to walk around in. You too, honestly your feet were starting to hurt.

The both of you walk into the small cramped elevator (the complete opposite of the pirates hideout one) and weirdly enough, there wasn't a button to press! "Wait.. then what?" Funneh asks, confused. But before you could do anything, the door shuts.. sending you further down.

*DING

The elevator doors open, revealing a huge library. The walls were completely hidden behind the many many amounts of bookshelves and books itself. This is cool, really cool. You look around the place, taking in the environment.. and the book smell. "! A doggie!!!" Funneh randomly screeches, pointing towards a bookshelf. Where a white furred golden retriever is sat, placing books from a basket into a lowest shelf of a bookshelf using its teeth. That's adorable.

"Little doggie hi!!!!" Funneh yells, running towards it to give it a pet.. immediately forgetting all about Gold. The dog seemed really startled at first, but immediately calms down once it figures out that all Funneh came to do was pet it. As Funneh giggles to herself, you stare at the dog. How is a dog.. alive in a sewer- wait nevermind, there's people living here. You forgot. And Sweetheart.. and Gold needs to be saved.. and Rainbow- yeah she's apparently here.. somewhere. You look around, you doubt she'd be in a place like this.. but..

There's a lot you still need to do, you signal to Funneh that the both of you have to keep going now. "Awww, come on Eclipse!! He's so soft!!- oh he's such a good boy- who's a good boy??" Funneh immediately turns back to the dog, as she repeats the phrase a few times. "Are you not gonna pet him?? He so.. fluffy! At least touch his fur!!" She exclaims, turning back to you. You do just that, and you won't lie, it was really soft.. the people here must own really good conditioner or something.. but anyways, you get back up and immediately force Funneh up too.

Sorry Funneh, but we really do got lots of stuff to do.. maybe once we do all that, we can come back.
Funneh sighs at this, "yeah yeah.. we have to look for.. hey.. Eclipse, can't dogs like.. find people or something??" Isn't that for trained dogs? "Doggie! Look, we're looking for a friend of ours, her name is Gold and she has the same coloured hair as me and yellow eyes, do you know where she went??" Funneh asks, turning back to the dog. Actually now that you think about it.. you don't really know how dogs find people, they must be really smart creatures.

Probably as a thanks for all those pets, the dog nods his head in agreement as he lead she both of you around the place. He seemed to know this place like the back of his.. paw?? Yeah, you agree dogs are very smart creatures but your cat is just as smart too, Kitty can not only talk but do other stuff.. like fly. You see lots of weird stuff, like a experiment room, a waterfall with actual water instead of acid, but you're standing above it so you couldn't really see the full thing.. this place was basically like.. a really big mansion with everything. A very big underground mansion.. and that's really cool.
