The Serpent's Pass Part 1

Aang's POV
Right now we were at a lake that was surrounded by cliffs and I was floating in the water this very moment, then I froze some water around me and bobbed up and down in the water laughing, then melting the ice. Then Katara, who was at the top of one of the cliffs jumped down from it yelling,"Water Bending Bomb!" and that cause a large gigantic wave pushing me out of the water and I landed on ground smashing all the ice around me.

The water caused the map that Sokka was looking at all wet and he said sarcastically,"Sure, just get a 5,000 year old map from the Spirit Library all wet,"

Then Katara came out of the water saying sorry and bending all the water off the map. I then asked Sokka,"Did you find out what route we're going to take?" Sokka said,"Well we just got out of the desert so we must be around here," while pointing at a spot on the map.

Then he continued,"Well to get to Ba Sing Se one of the best ways to go is this sliver of land here," pointing at a sliver of land that was on water. Toph asked,"Are you sure that's the best way to go?" Sokka then replied,"That's the only way to go, I mean it's not like we have Appa to fly us there," Even though I didn't show it on the outside but on the inside I felt sad that Appa wasn't here, that also led to me wondering if he and Kikki who I'm also sad about not being here, are okay. The Katara whispered,"Shush about Appa,can't you at least try to be sensitive,?"

Without showing Appa I said,"Katara, it's ok, I know I was focused on finding Appa and Kikki before but now I'm focused on getting to Ba Sing Se, and telling the earth King about the Solar Eclipse,"

Katara looked at me surprised and said,"Oh, ok, I'm glad your doing better," while on the inside I really wasn't. Then Sokka said,"To Ba Sing Se we go," then while we were standing up a guy in earth kingdom clothing said,"Hello there fellow refugees," next to him were to women, one who appeared to be pregnant.

I asked them,"So are you headed to Ba Sing Se too?" The man replied,"Sure are, we need to get there before my wife Ying has her baby," Then Katara smiled and said,"Great, we can travel to the Serpent's Pass together," Katara looked pretty with her hair down but I no longer like liked her anymore, I now like Kikki.

The pregnant woman then gasped and said,"The Serpent's Pass, only the desperate go there for it is a deadly route," Then the man said,"You should come with us to Full Moon's Bay, ferries take refugees like us across the lake to Ba Sing Se," Then Ying said,"And it's hidden so the Fire Nation can't find us,"

Katara said,"Hmm, Peaceful ferry ride or deadly pass?" Looking at Sokka with a raised eyebrow. Then we went to this dock that was in a cave and there were refugees everywhere. Katara said,"Wow, I didn't know there were so many refugees wanting to go to Ba Sing Se,"

Then we went over to one of the lines where this grouchy lady was yelling at a small man about no vegetables and how cabbage slugs can disrupt everything. She then yelled,"Security," and a large platypus bear completely smashed the cabbage wagon.

I gulped and with wide eyes I stepped up and said,"Um, four tickets to a ferry to Ba Sing Se please," She then asked,"Passports?" Passports? I then said,"Uh, no one told us we had to have passports," Then Sokka said,"Don't you know who this is, he's the avatar," The lady then scoffed and said,"Ah, I see fifty avatars a day, and they're all wearing costumes over there, besides no animals aloud, do I need to call security?"

I said,"That won't be necessary," Then Toph walked past me and said,"Let me take care of this," She then walked up and shooed the lady a passport that had her family symbol on it and the lady reluctantly said ok to the four of them but said no animals, but Toph said,"Oh, he's uh, my seeing eye flying lemurs pet,"

Then when we were walking a guard grabbed Sokka by the shirt and said,"Tickets and passports please, I've seen you before," she then went on and on about Sokka behavior till she said remember me, and she kissed Sokka's cheek. Then Sokka said Suki and they hugged. We then went to one of the sitting areas and had a talk with Suki. She then asked us where Kikki was, and why we were here instead of flying on Appa. We all looked down solemnly and Sokka said,"Appa and Kikki have both been taken and we heard that they're probably at Ba Sing Se and so we're looking for them.(A/N: I know that in the last chapter Kikki and Appa saw Suki and the other warriors but that's supposed to be set after this chapter)

Then they all looked at me and I said with a glare,"Stop worrying about me, alright?"
Then the woman Ling said,"Avatar Aang! Please help us!"
