The Blind Air Bender

The Seige of the North Part 2

Kikki's POV

When I woke up I had a feeling that something bad will happen today so I will be on alert. While walking outside I noticed Katara heading to her duel with Mr Pakku.

I decided to follow her and sense the whole duel, it will most likely be interesting. I grabbed my pack and yelled,"Hey Katara! Wait up!" She slowed down and we headed there together.

I stood in the sidelines sensing it. I felt the cold air all around me and sensed everything going on. Katara was doing spectacular, wow I didn't know she was that good at water bending. Right in the middle of the match I felt a lot of fire nation ships and they were heading to here!

Using strong winds that I made I yelled into it,"Fire nation up ahead getting ready to fight! Be alert! Get ready!" When I sent the winds away it carried my message all throughout the Northern Water Tribe. I made that move up myself.

Once everyone got the message I ran to where we were staying and got prepared for battle. Then I used the air around me to sense Aang and I ran to where he was.

I had to make sure that he was safe, suddenly I noticed a figure way below the wall and I sensed that it was someone from the fire nation. They were sneaking in to the city! I told Aang that and flew to Yue using my glider.

I didn't care if anybody noticed me using air bending, I needed to get to Yue. When I reached her we hugged and I asked her if she knew any secret tunnels going through the city. She nodded and showed them to me. I then used my senses to feel the intruder close by.

I hurried to where he was and quickly used air to hit the ice above where the intruder was trapping him/her. When I secured the wall of ice I flew to Aang and that's when LiLi managed to find me.

After finding Aang I told him that he should try to get into the spirit world as a suggestion to help this city. The Northern Water Tribe can't go down like the Southern side.

Yue heard us and showed us to a spiritual solace and that's when I noticed Sokka with us. I bent down to where Aang was and said,"You just meditate, I'll protect you, you need to find help so try your besta be good luck,"

Then I got into a fighting stance while everyone else left to help fight, then I felt the same intruder as I felt before come in here and he tried to take Aang, but I blocked him and decided to not take any chances by air bending. I am so glad now that my mom taught me how to fight.

I got ready and swiped the intruder under their feet, sensing the intruder better I sensed that the gender was a male. When he got back up the man to push me aside but I just flipped him. Getting angry the man used fire bending and tried to ward me off.

I jumped really high and went for a surprise attack when I landed right no him. Then I hoped more than anything that Katara, Sokka or Yue will come to help me. I couldn't use my air bending cuz I didn't want this fire bender to know I'm an air bender so I was pretty useless.

Finally the fire bender kicked me hard to the floor and burned me with fire. My head hit the floor hard before I let blackness surround me.

When I woke up my head hurt and I suddenly realized that Aang was gone. I then yelled,"Aang, he's gone! There was an intruder from the fire nation, I don't know who but he battled me and sent me flying! He has Aang!"

Katara and Sokka both told me to calm down so I did. Then I closed my eyes, at least I think my eyes were closed and started to feel all the air around me. I did this to see if I can possibly track down Aang, when I got an idea on where he was we headed in that direction.

After a little of walking, cuz it was too hard to fly cuz the snowstorm was strong, we finally found a cave with a flame in it. Using air bending I flew up onto the top of the cave to find a secret opening. Sokka and Katara were on either side of the cave entrance.

After feeling around I finally felt an opening and when I sensed everything around me I couldn't believe it. I suddenly got angry cuz Zuko was the one to capture Aang.

I flew down and whispered to Sokka and Katara,"Zuko was the one to clatter Aang and right now he's talking to him so now is the right time to attack, ready?"

They nodded and I flew in from the top cave entrance and with that I startled Zuko greatly. Then Katara came in and she made all this snow into water and swiped Zuko off of his feet. Then while Zuko was distracted with Sokka and Katara using air bending I lifted him up and onto my back. Then I grabbed his glider too and ran off at full speed using air bending to speed myself up.

I finally reached the Spiritual place again but Aang and I weren't alone. Two other fire benders were there! I carefully set Aang down and got ready to fight. Apparently Yue was there and she helped me to protect Aang.

Not long before Sokka and Katara joined us, I wonder where they left Zuko? I still got into fighting position though I was still wondering what those fire nation guys were doing here?

Then I heard the older one say don't do it. I looked at the pond and noticed that only the white fish spirit was swimming. Oh no. The younger guy left the fish go but he quickly burned it and Yue fell weak.

I ran to Yue and asked what was wrong. She said,"Kikki, remember when I told you of the story when I was born and nog breathing so I was dipped into the waters and the spirits healed me giving me white hair?" I nodded and realized what she had to do. The moon was no longer up and now it was a red sun and the whole sky and everything was red giving the fire benders an advantage.

I guess the older fire nation guy wasn't bad, at least he was smart. The younger guy laughed and said,"It's to late,"
He then left but the older guy stopped them and they had a fight. While that was going on Sokka also knew what Yue was going to do and he yelled,"Noo!"

Yue had tears in her eyes and she kissed Sokka while she hugged me. Then when the younger fire nation guy was defeated Yue walked into the waters and she was gone. Just then Aang awoke and the black spirit fish was healed.

I cried silently for Yue was my friend, at least the whole red sun thing was over. Then Aang's eyes started to glow and he hot into the avatar state. He became this giant spirit and took out the fire nation. Afterwards Master Pakku was apparently engaged to Katara and Sokka's grandma so he taught her and when she mastered it he gave her two special little containers with spirit water.

Then we left on Appa and we were to continue our journey. I wonder what will happen next?
