The Cave of the Two Lovers

Aang's POV
Kikki, and Sokka were both relying in the lake that we were at while Katara was teaching me some water bending moves, but I kept on getting distracted cuz I would be sneaking glances at Kikki. She was just so pretty with her short dark brown hair, her unique clouded grey eyes and her smile.

When Katara was correcting my stance I could've sworn that when I glanced at Kikki her face turned into a solid glare. When I looked back she was smiling. Then Katara walked a few feet and we both got ready to fight. Katara started to shoot icicles at me while I grabbed them using the move that Katara taught me, the octopus. After I 'grabbed' Katara's leg we finished.

Suddenly we heard singing, and we saw a group of people come by. One of the men said,"Hey, river people!" He introduced us to the people with him and apparently his name was Chan.

We sat down near the river and the group started to talk about stories and braiding Appa, Katara and Kikki's hair. Kikki's hair was parted into small braids and flowers were tucked in the braids. I thought she looked pretty right now. Then Sokka came out and was being grumpy.

While we were walking Chan was talking to us about stories while Sokka was saying how we needed to go to Omashu and Chan was going to show us to the cave of the two lovers.

Sokka protested so we went on Appa to fly there but immediately flew back after fire balls being hurled at us by fire benders. Then without an explanation Sokka said,"Love Cave now,"

Then when we walked there I said,"Uh, I don't really want to go in the cave because Appa hates going underground. Kikki said,"Well would you rather be shot down by fireballs?" I said,"Good point,"

Lily, Chan's wife said,"We forgot to tell you that love will be the only way through the tunnel which I think is a labyrinth, if you trust on love you will make it through,"

I looked over at Kikki who's hair was billowing in the wind and she was smiling thinking, her smile was so pretty and the flowers really did look beautiful in her hair. Her clouded eyes looked unique and special to me and I loved looking at them. I said to Lily,"Ya, we'll make it,"

Then when we entered I was about to turn back but there was an avalanche and the opening was blocked. Lily took out five torches and lit them all at once saying how we have ten hours. Sokka and Kikki both freaked out because Kikki blew them all out but one with the wind while Sokka patted them just in case they light up again.

Sokka said he'll make a map so we don't get lost, apparently it felt like we were walking in circles and Sokka Katara and I all looked at her and she said,"What? I think the walls keep changing because I can't feel the way out through my airbending, sorry everybody," then Sokka groaned and right then wolf bats came flying down and Sokka waved the torch he had everywhere causing Appa to freak out and hit the walls. Then the ceiling started collapsing and I pushed Kikki out of the way of some rocks falling on her and Appa her and I were trapped and separated from the others.

Kikki yelled through the walls,"Are you okay!" Sokka yelled back,"Kinda, but it's just me and Katara, we don't know where Chan or the others are!"

I groaned and Kikki and I went our separate ways from Katara and Sokka. We walked what felt like forever till we found a door and Appa barged through it and eventually opened it. All we saw was a tomb. Kikki said,"Guess it's not the exit but maybe we'll learn something here!"

We both flew down to where everything was and I said,"Would you like to be the one to read the tombs? Kikki said enthusiastically,"Ya! Just have the blind girl read things!"

I blushed and said,"Oh, sorry. I'll read," I looked at the letters on the tombs that we were in front of and said out loud,"It all started when there was a man and a lady who met one time after seeing each other at the top of the hill that divided the two villages..." After finishing the story Kikki asked,"Well, you know how love can lead the way out maybe we should, you know, kiss,"

I said,"Um, oh I don't know...," Kikki snapped,"Oh, sorry for suggesting that! Then maybe we shouldn't kiss at all!" She folded her arms and turned away. I internally groaned and said in my head why do you have to be so stupid Aang!

Then we kept on going and trying to find a way out and Appa followed us, then suddenly it grew dark and I couldn't see. I'm pretty sure Kikki could 'see' but I couldn't. Then we kissed and suddenly gems lit up and Appa, Kikki and I left and followed the path. When we finally got out we saw Katara and Sokka come out on badger moles and Lily, Chan and the others come back singing.

Then we sorted our ways towards Omashu and after a lot of walking Sokka said,"I present to you the city of O-oh No,"
Then we all saw that Omashu was taken by the fire nation.
