Title: "Our Little Secret"

"I knew I would find you here." Casey Novak placed her jacket on the back of an empty chair that sat unoccupied in front of a semi-relaxed, Detective Olivia Benson. She slightly glanced up at the attorney with a soft grin as her hair covered most of her face. Trying to hide the sorrow that Casey knew she was feeling, she still gifted her with a smile.

Casey's POV

"Am I really that predictable?" She continued to trace around the rim of her glass of wine, which looked to be her third drink. "I'm not surprised. Nothing has changed..same old Olivia."

"You're not predictable at all, Olivia. It's my first day back, and I'm still surprised to see that fire still burning in your eyes. Also, I can't lie about this being my favorite bar. Who wouldn't want to come here. " I spoke as the waiter bought me my usual. Tequila on the rocks. I've been dying for a drink all day, especially after seeing this gorgeous woman. "I order the same thing every time."

"Yep, you were the one I came with that day. I will never forget the way we first met." Olivia giggled before sipping more of her wine. "After that Crestwood's case, we really needed to get to know each other better."

"Oh gosh, ha. Stabler thought I was a bitch after that case." I flinched as her head fell at the mention of that piece of crap. God, why do I have to be so stupid. To my surprise, she smirked at the thought of the statement from her glass of wine.

"Oh no, he was just missing Alex. I was, too. You were just so different from her." She pinned her hair behind her ear as I froze for a minute and let out a "hm. "

"I would take "different than her" to be a bad thing, right?" She slowly moved her gaze to me and softly bite her lip. Right at that moment, I was confused.. and slightly turned on. "Is it?"

"No, not at all. I kind of found it... pretty hot, actually." She took one more sip, with her eyes not leaving mine for a second. I was shocked, she said what? "Alex..well, she was a wonderful attorney for SVU, very high conviction rate. Strong and determined, great qualities that I admired. You, on the other hand, were more feisty when it came done to business. Which I thought was pretty sexy. Just my opinion."

I chuckled before saying anything else. "I didn't know that, Detective. Why you never told me this before?"

"Not something, I would bring up to a coworker...that is also a female." She chuckled as I rolled my eyes at her, as if I would've cared about the consequences when it came down to her. "...but I thought about it some more, is she into that? Would she be bothered by the comment?"

"What?!" Pretending to be shocked, she just simply shrugged her shoulders as she sat back in her chair with her body language screaming with confidence. This just left me with the opportunity to catch a glimpse of her beautiful, round breasts that stared right back at me from her navy blue blouse. "May I ask, what persuaded you to ask yourself that sinful question about me?"

"....Let's just say, for a lawyer, you are not very good at hiding what you are thinking. I see the way you look at me, counselor." it was true, I slowly started to blush as she knew it, too. Now that the cards are all on the table, I might as well have a little fun with the beautiful brunette. "I knew it."

"Yes ma'am, you are correct. I will confess, you are a very attractive woman. No harm or foul in admitting that, but what would we have done if I told you that in the past? That definitely wouldn't have been allowed. So, I kept quiet and just studied you. Hell, I'm surprised Stabler didn't snatch you up while he had the chance." Just like that, she was speechless. Olivia Benson was actually speechless. "He was a fool, though, and still is. I would've taken your ass with me." I jokingly said, throwing back the rest of my drink. My heart fluttered, hearing her chuckle.

"I know, and I wish he would have. I wish he would have at least told me... but he didn't. That hurts..."She whimpered as she struggled to hold back the tears. I hopped up out of my chair and to her side, but she softly pushed me away. "No, no more crying. I'm with you now. Drinking and enjoying each other's company. And to answer your question..."

I stood back a bit as my eyes connected with her soft brown ones. "I would've definitely gone out with you, Novak." I couldn't stop the giggle that slipped from between my lips. "With all jokes aside, is that offer still on the table?"

"Hmmm, depends on if you're down for that type of ride, Benson." She slowly stood up from her chair to be eye level with me, which I will say was intoxicating. "You sure you will be able to handle me?"

"Oh, Novak, I've handled much worse... and I'll take that as a yes." She grabbed her belongings and paid our tab before walking towards the door. "Are you coming, or are you spending the night alone?"

I quickly grabbed my stuff as we both walked out the pub and into the cold winter night. "Where are we going?"

"My place." I stopped in my tracks as she turned around at her car door. She was slightly confused at my actions. "What's the matter, Novak?"

"What's the plan at your place?" I asked as she seductively walked over to me. It was the look in her eyes that gave it all away. "You sure you're not drunk tonight, Benson?"

"Hm, not even close, Novak. Let's just say, I rather have fun tonight with you. I'm tired of crying, I'm ready to forget." At that moment, I knew what she meant. I wanted to do whatever she needed me to do to make her feel amazing and at peace. She trusted me, and that felt great. I wanted her, and she wanted me. "So, what do you say? If you're not up for it, it's okay with me."

"Not up for it? You don't know me at all, do you? I've been wanting ever since I laid eyes on you, Benson." We both giggled before she got a little closer, I could smell her lavender perfume as the scent engulfed me. "Can I kiss you?"

She softly nodded with no hesitation as I slowly leaned in before my lips connected with her soft ones. Time just stopped, I didn't know if this was reality or not. I've kissed women before, but something was so different with this one. She slowly pulled away, causing me to whimper at the loss of contact. She placed her forhead against mine as she found my hands around her hips. "Casey?" She whispered.

"Yeah?" I responded as we looked into each other's eyes. I could see the seriousness in hers at this point, but with a hint of vulnerability. "What is it, Liv?"

"Tonight, I want you to help me forget. Make me forget.." She pleadingly whispered. "I don't want to think about him anymore."

"Liv.." I pulled her into my arms. She's the strongest person I know, and seeing her like this almost brought me to tears as well. She was my best friend, I wasn't gonna let her down. Not now. "I'll do anything for you, honey. Are you sure you want this?"

"Yes, I only want you to do this with me. I trust you." I nodded before kissing her once more before whispering into her ear.

"This can be our little secret."
