I've been watching you
For some time

There he was, Trevor Langan, standing down the hall of court house waiting for my arrival. Walking up to him, those beautiful blue eyes began to glow right with bright smile. I knew I was a little late for our meeting to talk about Noah's custody agreement before court tomorrow, but to be honest with myself, I wasn't ready for it to just be us in a room alone. It was about Noah after all.

"Olivia. How are you and Noah?" He asked putting on a half smile as if trying to be more calm and professional. Trevor Langan was the type that tried to hide his inner feelings, but never succeeded, although he has gotten better over the years. Not really sure if he likes me as much as he used too..not that I care.

"We're doing great, he is so amazing." I wasn't lying, Noah is such a gifr, and I thank the judge for this opportunity..certainly having Langan by my side is helping me along the way. He's the only one I trust that would help me win Noah. "I'm so ready for a year to pass by."

He quickly smiled at me in an awe fashion, "Soon, it's almost here, Olivia. I know Noah will do best in your care." Right than I noticed something I never quite payed attention too. Has his eyes always been so blue?

2 Weeks Later

I softly wracked my fingers through my hair before I heard three knocks on my office door. I opened my eyes, and there behold Trevor Langan standing just feet away from me. This was absolutely fine, but what was off about it was the nervous look he held in his eyes. "Trevor, hi. Is everything okay?"

I stood up from desk, having a feeling I would need too. He looked at me for a while until he looked back as his feet, I was now filled with worried as my heart began to beat. "Trevor, is this something to do with, Noah?" I couldn't hold back, that familiar feeling tingling all over body, the feeling of losing another person I fell in love with. I wouldn't be able to live with that again.

"No-no..no. Everything is fine." He reassured me before he looked down once more, I was relieved but still worried. What was the problem than?

"What's going on, Trevor?" I asked anxiously so my heart would stop being annoying, which shouldn't be a shock to me since it usually did it around him now...."You're scaring me.."

"I'm sorry, um. I'v-I've been wanting to ask you this for a long time now, and..and I wanted know. Uuughhh, Iwantedtoknowifyouwouldliketogoonadatewithme?" My mouth was agaped, he was asking me..out on a date? "It's okay, if you don't want to though..."

"No, ha. I'm so sorry, you took me by surprise there. Almost gave me a heart attack, haha." I smiled at the now flushed and embarrassed lawyer who was now rubbing his neck. "I'm flattered, but..."

His fear and disappointment caught up to him quickly, but he showed an understanding expression as if he knew a rejection was coming. "..I have to confess, I am a little rusty at dates." He glanced back up at me, and began to chuckle giving me a glimpse of his perfect smile, which filled my heart up with warmth. "It's been a while."

"You? You have no idea what you're getting yourself into, Sargent." He slightly grinned as he stood more taller than when he arrived. 'What if I did?'
