Title: Rainy Day
☔☔☔Chapter 6⛈⛈⛈

Call after call, text after text, just to see if Brian was okay. 28 minutes later, still no response, not even from the job. Now I was worried. My last memories were kissing him goodbye and getting a text of recurrence that he made it to his destination. Since then, nothing, i walked over to my television. Turning it to the weather channel, to watch the update on the tropical storm chris thats heading our way.
'He should've been here.'
At this moment I couldn't take it anymore, they let everybody come home from there jobs about two hours ago. I started to grab my things, but before I moved an inch...someone was at the door. I saw a shadow of feet standing very still, thats when the knob started to jiggle. Quietly walking to the coat rack, I grabbed my gun out of my holster. As the door knob continued, I took a few steps back, gun ready...waiting.
Brian's POV
"Okay everyone, we're shutting down early. I just got word from the mayor, that there's a storm coming this way. So, pack your things and head home, that's an order." Ed Tucker commands, scanning his eyes around the room landing on me. We both made eye contact, as I knew that look that he always gave. He wanted to have a word...
Grabbing my things as he walked into his office to finish himself. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to see that it just shutdown, just about to call Olivia. Got to hurry and get home. "Cassidy!"
I looked up to see Tucker locking his door, as he walked over to me. "...Let's just say, I apologize for last week..."
"Tucker..." I said as we walked down the stairs, not even going to try the elevator during this kind of weather. "That's the past, its over..but you should also know that did it to save that little girls life."
"I know, I know." we both continued to peer straight on. I couldn't look at him, after remebering the night that Olivia came home, and ran straight to me. After the interrogation with Tucker, she was for sure that Lewis has won this round. For the rest of the night, I just comforted her telling her it's not over until she says so. "I was only doing my job."
"Yeah, but just keep in mind that Olivia isnt like every other dirty cop. Instead she tries to help bring justice to the victims. Unlike me, she's the best cop and person I'll ever dream of being." Our gaze met
before I walked out the elevator heading to the double doors, with Tucker following behind. "Also Tucker, it's all over. He's gone now."He nodded back at me, as I walked towards the garage to retrieve my car.
"Yeah."

Finally heading home, I'm surprised to see that everyone is taking the news about the weather very serious this time. Since last years weather news cast, wasn't that right about the weather sometimes. No one expected that tornado to come so early, liked they said it would. Good thing most of the police stations let everyone good just in case. Just thinking about coming home to Olivia so early, takes me back to that day when we had the place all to ourselves for the weekend, with no interruptions. Which was the best, filling in our time together, while nature was doing its job outside. I can't wait to see her beautiful face, after what happened with Tucker..."So weird for him to apologize, most of the time, he thinks he's right..."I said out loud to myself. Coming up to a red light, I noticed a car on the side of the road. From the looks of the person standing on the side of the car seems to be a female, who seemed to look really familiar. After the light changed, I went, and parked behind her car. Placed my holster back on, making sure my gun was in it just in case.
