Amanda thought that her life had literally just got worse, by havening to go to work on a Monday morning. Looking embarrassing!

Just last weekend I had to go get my braces put back on since my teeth were starting to spread apart, once again. Good thing I got them done on my weekend off, and just to make it worse I have to wear glasses. My eye doctor insisted on them since there was a shortage on their contacts. I was against glasses ever since high school, I would always get teased about how big they are, but it officially stopped when big rimmed glasses became 'popular'. No matter what I still hated them, even though everyone started to like me after that. The worst part of this is that my boss hates me, and I don't know why.

All I know is, the minute she sees me, she's just going to make the situation worse by making fun of me...

I thought to myself as I walked in to the squad room. As I walked in, I didn't see no one except for... the one and only, Olivia Benson. The last person I would like to see right now, I hurriedly took my glasses so she wouldn't see them. I watched her pour the hot liquid into her gray coffee cup, I tried not to run into anything in the process as placed my things on my desk. Not being able to see the desk hardly, I placed things on there a little too loudly.

"Jesus, Amanda! You almost scared the crap out of me."she sighed turning back around grabbing my coffee mug, and started pouring coffee in it. "How was your morning?"

I placed my glasses in my desk drawer and sat down in my chair. "Sorry about that, and not so great, thanks for asking." I said loud enough with my hand over my mouth. "What about you?"

"I've had better."she walked over to me, and handed me my coffee. I was surprised that she being nice to me. "Amanda, I just wanted to apologize for the way I've been treating you. You don't deserve that at all."

I wanted to smile, but caught myself, so I just grinned instead. "Liv, it's fine. You were going through a lot, and the squad was changing at the same time..." I looked down, not wanting to see facial expression.

"I didn't have the right to take it on you, Amanda. I was actually excited to have another female on the squad again, I was just upset about having a new partner. I just couldn't get over the fact that he wasn't going to come back, and I unleashed my anger on everyone."she sat on the corner of my desk. Which made me look up at her. ".. I'm sorry."

I was so overwhelmed with happiness, my ideal that's also my boss is asking for my forgiveness. At that moment, I made the dumbest mistake... I smiled. It was the most cheekiest smile ever. I remembered, when I finally noticed her face expression,'Come on, Amanda! Oh well they were going to show soon or later.'

"Nice braces."she said pointing towards her teeth. "Blue really brings out your eyes."

I sucked my lips in, upset that I forgot about them. "Thanks. Thanks for noticing." I watched her walk away before going back to cursing myself for forgetting. 'Well, I might as well get over it, I'm going to laugh soon or later. This squad has me smiling 24/7, especially Fin...' I thought as I searched for my glasses in my drawer.

"Oh yeah, Amanda?" I turned around in my chair, and glanced at her standing in the doorway of her office. "You really shouldn't hide the fact that you wear glasses you know. Trust me, I tried, and it didn't work."

She walked into her office, leaving her door open. I sat there froze for a good few seconds before I got up, and headed into her office. I stood a the door frame, not trying to be rude.

"..H-how did you know I had glasses?"I asked very curious, but also creeped out at the same time. She looked over her reading glasses after I asked, placing her pen down, she took off her glasses. That's when I decided to exchange some humor. "Are you stocking me, Benson?"

She chuckled. "One, no. Two, that's Fin's job. And three, did I scare ya?"I chuckled to myself, I walking to sit in one of the chairs in front of her desk. "First off, what the hell is going on with, Fin lately?"

"He's weird. Fin is Fin, no matter what, and I hope it stays that way."she smiled, looking back up from her hands. "I had an appointment with my eye doctor on Friday. I was sitting in the waiting room.. I'm surprised you didn't see me. That's when I saw you get your glasses from the woman at the desk, you put them on when you left. I don't understand, if you didn't want to wear them, why didn't you just get contacts?"

"That's what I usually get, but they were out until next month."I said crossing my legs, as I sat back. "I was so afraid to wear them, because you guys might make fun of them.. I know it sounds childish..."

"..Go get them."I looked at her for a moment, wandering what was up her sleeve. Instead I decided to go get the stupid things, curious of what's going to happen. I came back, and saw her sitting on the edge of her desk, with all of her tension on me. "Put them on."

"Liv.."

I was about to protest against it, but after seeing the look in her eyes. Seeing that she is serious, I just went on ahead with her request by placing them in front of my eyes. I watched as her reaction, as it her smile started to appear, and before I knew; we both were killing ourselves laughing.

"Awwww! You look adorable."I smiled at the comment, as she walked behind her desk grabbing her glasses. "How do I look?"

"Like a nerd."I said as I walked towards her and gave her a hug. "I guess I miss judged you, Benson."

"Same too you, Nerdy."she said as she patted my back, before pulling back, and smiled. "Same to you."

That's when all of a sudden, Fin and Nick walked in without us even knowing.

"AWWWWW!"they both exclaimed, making us jump a little. I rolled my eyes at them as the three musketeers had there mouths wide open.

"Wow, Rollins nice glasses." Carisi said as he walked in first and stood in front of me; I smirked at the Flirt. Of course not missing the eye roll and growling coming from Nick's direction as him and Fin walked into join the party

"Finally you two got together."Fin said as he stood beside Olivia. I turned around and snickered at the two, as Fin wrapped his arm around, Liv. "I told you, old Benson isn't so bad. Once you get to know her a little bit, she won't let you go."

"Awwww, Fin that's so sweet. Ever since, Munchkin left. You've been a little soft on me, lately.." I walked in between the two men, watching the two go at it once again. Looks like I don't have to worry about a terrible Monday; you just got to love these two with the comedy. "Boy, don't look away from me. You know you want all this."

Idk if I should help my partner or not, what do you guys think? Cause it looks like it's about to get good.

*Ooooouuu!! Here we go, what's going on between Benson and Tutola??? Sorry for the long wait phone went off at the wrong time in the month😢This probably is not the best chapter I've made, but at least I tried to entertain you all.
