Maya looked at the huge family gathering in front of her. In this time of unsure things, the Matthew family had decided to still host something for Christmas, especially since this year they had a reason to celebrate it. Maya showed the three-month Noah around the Christmas lights as he reached out for everything and Maya's heart overfilled with joy. She could barely believe that her son was growing up so fast and with everyone now knowing about him, it made it easier on her to enjoy the holidays.
"So, Maya. You are turning 20 in less than three weeks. How are we celebrating?" Riley asked as Maya looked at her best friend.
"We are in the middle of a pandemic, Riles. Even us getting together for Christmas is a huge risk with Noah," Maya said.
"So we're not doing anything then?" Riley asked.
"I need to continue with everything with my course. I've gotten some time off with Noah, but after New Years that is over and I need to return to normal," Maya said.
"It is literally on a Saturday. Come on, own day," Riley said as Maya shook her head.
"I doubt it will be possible," Maya said.
"Come on," Josh said as he took Noah in his arms.
"Time for Noah to hear his mother's voice," Josh said as Maya smiled and grabbed the guitar.
