My Secret Life (Completed)

Nursery

Maya smiled as the nursery was finally coming closer to an end while she and Josh started to pack away things that were needed and that they had gotten for the baby. Maya had known that she wanted to have a home birth especially with everything going on with the pandemic and so but what she didn't notice was how much strain it had put on her to find a midwife.

"We need to figure this out super fast," Maya said as she exhaled.

"Love, we still have a bit of time. It's July and the baby is due in October. Let's just take a breath," Josh said.

"Seriously?" Maya asked as Josh looked at his fiance.

"Okay, maybe I'm just not trying to freak out over here. It's going to be fine. I promise you," Josh said.

"I don't know. Sometimes it just looks like nothing is falling into place. Will our child be born during this crazy time? I sure hope not," Maya said.

"It's still going to work out," Josh said.

"Okay then. Okay. I'll stop stressing," Maya said as Josh had smiled.

"This is all amazing actually. What do you think will we have? Boy or girl?" Josh asked as Maya shrugged her shoulders.

"Come on. You woman have a fourth sense. You have to at least have a clue," Josh said as Maya chuckled.

"My cravings are kinda weird. One day I'll want salt and vinegar chips and the next I'll want banana ice cream. It's just not consistent," Maya said.

"What do you feel like for dinner? We should probably start with that," Josh said.

"Um... Do we still have crimp?" Maya asked as Josh nodded.

"Crimp with rice and steamed veggies?" Josh asked as Maya nodded.

"I'll come and help," Maya said.
