Auryn turned to look at her sister, who was already looking at her. Auryn started to feel uneasy, her head felt heavy and painful and her injuries screamed. Her world began to spiral - everything had gone wrong. Erin had been hunted by a Night Fury and then they were attacked by a Typhoomarang. Silas and Erin were completely exhausted - as was herself, and they all had been hurt by the impact when hitting the ground. Auryn's face and limbs were torn and bleeding. She knew she would only be able to stay conscious for a few more hours at the most, and already could feel tiredness dragging at her body. Auryn's spine seared with pain, making it difficult to breathe and move without it hurting more. She gritted her teeth, and carefully pulled Silas' limp body away from the sea, making his eyes flutter open. He studied her face between half closed eyelids, "Auryn," he whispered, before closing his eyes again and falling into sleep.

Suddenly an ear-splitting screech from above pierced their ears, and Auryn whipped around to see the Typhoomerang, sparks flying as it let out a snort of rage. Toothless came into view, leaping around on the edge of the cliff, trying in vain to fly upwards, but the Typhoomerangs powerful wings sent huge puffs of wind towards him, stopping him from becoming airborne. She could see Hiccup's agony as they tried to escape, but the other dragon had it all in its control. It created a flaming cyclone, its huge wings flapping wildly to stop Toothless from escaping this deadly trap. Auryn slowly wrapped her arms around Silas, before struggling to lift him up. She limped toward a slightly sheltered area of large rocks, and set him down before collapsing. Auryn gestured to Erin to join them, and the girl rose from the ground and slowly walked over to them, just far enough to be hidden by the rocks before she slumped to the floor in defeat.

Toothless let out a powerful roar of fury, shooting a plasma ball at the Typhoomerang in an attempt to escape. Thankfully, it seemed to work for just long enough for the Night Fury to become airborne, and now it was clear who had the advantage. The Typhoomerang may have had the advantage of size, but its large frame made it difficult to make tight manoeuvres, unlike his opponent who seemed now to just be taunting him, darting out of the other dragon's line of sight before firing again, and again, and again. The huge orange beast seemed to have had enough and began to climb up higher into the sky, and Auryn noted that even though it may not be as nimble as a Night Fury, its wingspan meant it could almost outfly its opponent, often disappearing into the clouds before vanishing entirely.

The Night Fury seemed to want to give chase, but Hiccup held him back, and they swooped over the cove where the trio was. "Hiccup!" Auryn yelled desperately, trying to grab the older boy's attention, but her voice had volume. She sank to her knees, letting her head hang as she let out a sob. Erin couldn't help her sister in her condition, and Silas was too young and tired to be much help, how would they get out of the cove? Auryn could tell from just a glance that the only way in and out of the small bay was via the sea. The cliff was too steep and unstable to climb, but as she stared out at the ocean, she could see that the sailors were right - there was definitely a storm coming, and it was closing in fast.

Auryn knew that this cove would flood in the storm; they had to get out of here. The question was, how?

The girl sat and thought, her eyes fluttering as she fought to stay awake. She bit her lip in an attempt to prevent herself from letting out whimpering. The girl brought her hands to cup her face, before wincing at the contact. She could feel two large cuts on her face, one on her jaw and one on her cheek fading onto the bridge of her nose, and many more small and large scratches and slices scattered on her limbs from racing through the woods. She shuddered as a cold wind seemed to seep into her bones, looking up at the dull sky as thoughts raced through her head.
