the rest of the week, nothing interesting happened. sophie got in another argument. shocker i know. today we had no classes because we would be getting our finger glows. i've been told many stories about it, mostly people say its painful. yay. i decided on something simple, but can make a statement. so this dress.

i sat down next to hort who was plonked next to the girls in my dorm. they were all laughing at the evers in their ridiculously coloured clothes. how rude of them to start without me, so, i too, laughed. i looked around the hall to not see sophie anywhere, and aggie talking to tedros. that boy has King of Broken Hearts written all over him. so i turned back to everyone else.

"SHUT UP!!" lesso yelled "everyone find your seats." she continued "lets begin"

"to access one's magic, one must first unlock ones finger glow." dovey cut in.

"once youve mastered your finger glow, it will prove to be invaluable." lesso explained "shall we?" yes please. each headmistress pulled out a pin prick. huh.

"have no fear evers. good feels no pain."

"nevers..." she trailed off and laughed. oh no. "its going to hurt." yay.

"oh good." hort said. what does he have a pain kink or something because that shit does not sound appealing.

"line up!" dovey yelled.

everyone pushed and pulled at one another to try to go first, but i only stuck to hort like glue. hester got up first and so did the blonde bitch of the evers. hester held out her hand and i watched as the prick went all. the. way. through, twisted and then got pulled out, she gasped in pain or delight. i cant tell. my mouth hung open so i looked at the evers and they only got it halfway ?? lucky. dovey said something but i was too worried about hort. he got his finger jabbed and he made strange noises in pain.

"thank you ma'am" hort said. shit that was hot- I MEAN UHH WHAAAATT. wait shit its my turn.

i went up nervously and stuck out my hand. i felt a small prick a little twist and it started glowing. i have no clue what hort was talking about but it did not hurt. i walked over to hort and as he looked at me his finger glowed quite bright and so did mine so he hid his behind his back. god he was cute.

"when your finger glows it means you've begun to tap into emotions powerful enough to cast a spell." lesso explained.

"the stronger your feelings, the stronger your magic." dovey continued.

suddenly, through the back curtains, my annoying sister walks out, in something other than her usual rag. shockingly. her hair was shorter and she was wearing something to make her look like a never.

"i hope im not late" she marched right up to the front of the que and shoved her hand in lesso's face. they had an indistinct conversation and she did the same twist and pull thing, but sophie didn't flinch and turned away. who the fuck was she and where is my sister, yet for some reason i hate her more now.

an: hey, so i forgot to mention this earlier but im sorry if i spell things wrong or forget punctuation. (is that how u spell it please correct me on any words but i think u know what i mean). english isn't my first language. im from the nederlands, i think its dutch in english, so goedemorgen, goedeavond en welterusten klootzakken.(all jokes just google translate it:) i am quite good at english tho (i think). if youre wondering how i get all the words right the movie is playing on the corner of my screen. idk if anyone else does that but it helps sooo yeah.
