Lisa's POV

Today is my second day as Irene's manager and unfort— fortunately, she doesn't have a schedule today. She can rest for the whole day and I was expecting her to do so since she worked really hard yesterday.

But today, I was woken up by my phone's non-stop ringing. I finally managed to find my phone which I left inside my pants' pocket yesterday.

"Yeoboseyo?" *(Hello?)

Irene: What? You're still sleeping at this hour?!

"Nuguseyo?" *(Who's this?)

I acted as if I don't know her just to annoy her.

Irene: Really?! You don't know me?!

"Oh, it's you. Morning Miss Bae." I greeted her with such dullness.

Irene: Pick me up.

"Wae? You don't have any schedule today. Go get some rest and I'll do the same."

Irene: I said pick me up. Right now. If you're not here in an hour, I'll tell the company to replace you.

"Haha. As if you ca—"

Before I even finished my sentence, she already dropped the call.

"Aish."

I released a sigh as I made my way to the bathroom to wash. I guess it's better to see that evil midget instead of doing nothing here all day. Might as well annoy her to death to make the day most of it.

I am now in my personal car driving to Irene's house. Well, her manager's personal car because the van that her manager usually uses is currently at the repair shop. I brought it yesterday for its yearly maintenance checkup.

According to her manager's memory, I noticed he hasn't checked the car's condition yet for a year and a half.

As Irene's 72 hours manager, I should at least fulfill my duty to make sure of her safety. I mean her manager is nice but he's kinda reckless for not checking the condition of the car he uses for driving Irene.

There are still 4 minutes left before an hour since that midget called. I was already in front of Irene's house but I didn't inform her. I was thinking of waiting a minute late just to annoy her.

My phone suddenly rang but I didn't answer it right away. It was the midget calling. It was now a minute late from the time she demanded to fetch her and I caught a glimpse of her from her room's window. She was holding her phone while glaring at my car.

"Yeoboseyo?"

Irene: Is that you inside that old small car?

"Yup."

Irene: Why didn't you inform me? Tsk! Wait for me. I'll be down there in a sec.

She dropped the call and I hummed while tapping on the steering wheel. I am currently listening to a song from a group called Blackpink.

"If you really, really love me, malhaejwo.
Na eobsi haludo beotilsu eobsdago really, really..
Jibchaghal mankeum wonhandago, really."

*(If you really, really love me, say it.
That you can't stand a day without me really, really.
That you want me so bad that you're obsessed, really.)

"Hey, this song is really nice."

And then suddenly the car door swung open, disrupting my glorious concert moment inside the car.
