* Adrienne's P.O.V*
Why isn't he saying anything. We've just been sitting here watching this boring movie I've never heard of. I need to break this awkward silence.
" so, how's your life" I blurt out. Really?That's what I come up with. " um, nothing really." He responds turning his head to look at me. " I've been hanging out with my boys. And um.." He stops himself. "what?" I question, what is he holding back "I met this girl." He says looking down at his lap. "Oh, what's her name?" My voice is shaky. "Jamie" he says with a slite grin. "She's cool, I'm hanging out with her later. " he says returning his eyes to mine. "That's nice" I reply returning my attention to the television screen. Why would he invite me over when he's gonna hangout with some other girl soon after I leave?

Because he doesn't think of you like you think about him.
I think to myself.

"I should go " I blurt starting to stand. "Already? The movie isn't even half over" he says looking up at me, now that I'm standing. "No I should-" I'm stopped by an unfamiliar tingling feeling in my wrist. Looking down I notice the semi- rough grip he has on me. "Why are you in such a rush to go?" His piercing blue eyes staring up at me. I slowly remove my wrist from his large hand , immediately missing the slight contact. "Uh.. I-I have alot of homework to do." I lie " okay, bye" I leave with a small wave.

Hours later and I still can't get why I felt so hurt when he said that. Hearing him say that he is interested in another girl hurt me way more than it should have. Looks like my heart is in trouble.
