Don't Let Me Go

*Adrienne's P.O.V*

I walk through the school parking lot looking for my car. Once I spot it , I walk quicker . I've waited all day for school to end, because today I get to see my boyfriend. He goes to another school. Therefore we have to organize days to see eachother. We've been dating for 4 months he asked me out a month before summer, and before he moved to another school.

I finally reach my car I sling the door open and throw myself into the car. I start the car and exit the school parking lot. I drive to Starbucks,where we decided to meet. I'm driving for a short amount of time, once I reach my destination I turn off the car and grab my purse and hop out of the car, closing and locking it behind me. I look up at the clear enterance doors and notice him sitting alone at a table. I smile to myself .

I head towards him, once at the table he is sitting at he notices my presence and stands . I look up at him , noticing our height difference." Hey ." he says pulling me into a hug. " Hey" I say wrapping my arms around his body. He finally pulls away, signalling me to sit down. I take the seat across from him . I look into his deep dark eyes waiting for him to say something. "So, uhm, I gotta talk to you." He finally speaks. " what about " I question a little confused. " I, uhm, don't think this is really, uhm working out. " He says. I feel the teers welling in my eyes I fight them back. Holding back my teers my throat starts to go dry." a-are y-you sure?" I studder " yea, I just, I hope we can still be friends." He replies. His words trigger something inside me, instead of crying I wanna claw his eyes out. I suddenly start to laugh. He looks at me a threads his eyebrows together

"Are you serious?" I question . "You really think that we're gonna be friends , after I've waisted time trying to be a good girlfriend." I let out "and your just gonna let all that waste away." I say with a heavy sigh. Now people around us are staring. " Calm down" he says reaching for my hand "no , just leave me alone. " I say I grab my bag and head for the door. "Addie" he cals for me using the horrible nickname he came up with. "Fuck off." I say a sudden hatred radiating from me.

I drive home and go to take a shower. "Hello sweety , how was your day?" My mother says to me as I walk through the door "wonderful" I say sarcastically. I run up the stairs to the bathroom I start the shower. Once the water has heated up, I strip off my clothes and walk into the shower. The hot water hits my skin instantly relaxing me. After standing in the shower till my fingers got pruney I finally get out.I wrap the towel around my body. I walk to my bedroom.I begin to search for pajamas,I throw on soft baggy pants and a tank top. grabbing my heavy blanket i climb under it thankful for its warmth.I just wanted to go to sleep and forget about my day.
