Smut warning and sexual assault warning

The dreaded day of graduation. Gulf was quite literally shitting himself. This was terrifying. What if he was late? What if he wore his shirt inside out? What if he tripped on his way onto the stage? He was definitely overthinking and it wasn't until Mew unexpectedly showed up on his doorstep at half seven in the morning with a cup of hot chocolate and a croissant did Gulf even take a minute to appreciate the fact that he had made it this far. It was Mew who emphasised how hard Gulf had worked for this and it made him think; he had always been so focused on what was next, what came after university that he hadn't given himself the chance to just enjoy his early twenties. Yes, he had his football and his video games, and okay, he now had Mew, but that was only a fraction of his life - he had been consumed by exams and course work and whatever his lecturers threw at him that it was all he ever thought about.

Mew had mostly sat quietly on his phone in Gulf's living room, watching him every now and again as he paced around his condo. He was going to give Gulf a ride to the ceremony, he couldn't stay much to his dismay as he had to get to work but he wanted to at least be there at some point for him. Gulf was grateful for Mew's presence, just having him in the same facility helped calm his nerves. And soon enough, it was time to head out. Mew led them to his car and they arrived at the venue with plenty of time to spare - Gulf had made sure they'd have extra time to get there just in case there was bad traffic.
"Well, this is it. How do you feel?" Mew asks as he pulls into a parking space. Gulf takes a deep breath, his heart is beating way too fast and he feels sort of jittery all over.

"Nervous but excited, I think." It was hard to tell with so many emotions inside him. "It's crazy to think that this is the end of my education."

"Definitely! Well, I am very proud of you." Mew lays a hand on Gulf's inner thigh. Gulf's entire body heats up. Despite them not knowing each other for too long, Mew could see as clear as day how hard Gulf worked and how he wouldn't stop until he was happy - he saw it on the pitch, Gulf would spend ages perfecting a skill until he got it 100% right.

"Thank you." Gulf tilts his head. He can't hide the smile on his face and before thinking too much, he leans in and lands a light kiss to Mew's lips. Mew kisses back, slightly more passionately than Gulf had expected and he has to pull away before they go too far. "So I'll see you tonight?"

"Yep, I'll swing by at seven?" Mew thought it would be best if he drove, that would mean he legally couldn't be intoxicated.

"Sure." And with that, Gulf leaves the comfort of the car and heads off to find his friends. Mew stays until he can no longer see Gulf before making his way off to the office. Yay.

The evening soon arrived and Mew was admittedly quite excited. It had been a while since he last partied and perhaps he had gotten slightly bitter towards them with his age. He even dressed up for the occasion - a silky black shirt with most of the buttons undone, exposing the silver necklace he wore, pairing the shirt with a pair of black trousers. He managed to find time to style his hair too - he thought as he was meeting Gulf's friends, he might as well make an effort. Gulf similarly, had dressed up nicely; a black top that he would definitely sweat in and a pair of leather trousers - he liked the way the clothes hugged his body; it was good for his confidence. Mew liked it too. When Gulf entered the car, Mew wouldn't stop staring at him.

"You look hot." Is all Mew says before driving off into the night.

They arrive at the club and Mew nervously walks behind Gulf. Now that they were actually here, Mew wasn't so sure this was a good idea. He feels like he's being stared at and Gulf has to reassure him that he's not. Finding Gulf's friends was a mission in itself; they were supposed to meet outside but just minutes before Mew and Gulf got there, they had gone in to start ordering drinks. They weave through the masses of people; Gulf leading Mew as he glues them together by holding onto his arm. The music was as loud as Mew had expected, the lights were dim with flashes of colour that would probably make his eyes hurt by the end of the night and the clear, distinctive smell of alcohol filled his senses.
