Mew is awoken to the sound of his phone ringing. It had been ringing for the past half an hour and neither had even stirred from their sleep. He removes himself from Gulf, lightly placing his head back onto an actual pillow rather than his chest and rolls over to grab his phone. He had just missed the call and squinted at the screen, trying to adjust his eyes to read who had been calling him. It was Tul, his secretary. He had over fifteen missed calls and a dozen text messages from the man. Mew didn't bother reading them, instead dialling his number.
"Oh, you've finally picked up!" Tul's voice is loud through the phone and Mew was not prepared for the noise.
"What's-"
"What happened yesterday?" Oh shit.
"I went to a club with a friend...why?" Mew plays innocent. He had hoped that his slight aggression towards that disgusting man had gone unnoticed but from the way Tul heavily sighs, he may have been wrong.
"The press wants to talk to you, they're coming to your house at ten so you better hurry."
"They're coming here? How do they know my address? Ten...it's literally nine fifty, oh my god." Mew sits up, swinging his legs out of bed and trying not to panic. "Talk later, okay?" Mew doesn't wait for a response, he hangs up and instantly starts faffing around trying to get himself together. He reaches for a plain suit - the press would expect him to look presentable - and a matching tie before heading into the bathroom to sort his hair out.

"What's going on? Why are you all dressed up?" Gulf asks, standing in the doorway of the bathroom. Mew turns to face him. The sight of Gulf instantly melts him; messy bed hair and the oversized t-shirt Mew had given him last night along with the slightly visible marks left on his neck and reddened lips.
"Gulf," Mew begins, stepping over to him and placing a hand on his shoulder. "I may be in a little bit of trouble for punching that guy last night," he says as calmly as he could. Gulf's eyes instantly widen and Mew can see the panic in his eyes. "It's fine...I'll talk my way out of it and I won't mention any names so you and your friends won't be in any danger."
"Mew, this is my fault...if I had just pushed him away in the first place..." It was all a bit of a blur for Gulf, he couldn't remember what he looked like or even the moment he got separated from the group but now Mew was being punished? That was unfair.
"No, no, no it's not. I shouldn't have reacted that way but I did and now I have to deal with the consequences." He had no idea what he would say to the press nor did he know what to expect. But it was a little too late to have anything planned as there's a violent knock on the door. "Just wait up here, I'll try and be quick."

Mew walks down the stairs, taking deep breaths. This had only happened once before and it had certainly dented his career but people got over it quick enough - an overly dramatised version of his relationship with his now ex. As he opens the door, he's met with an array of people. Some hold mics and cameras over their shoulders while others have notebooks and pens. This was really rather dramatic. Mew greets them as he would any other person and waits for the questions to begin.
"Why were you at a club last night, Mr Suppasit?" Is the first question he hears. Mew purses his lips before responding.
"To have a fun time, isn't that what clubs are for?" He answers truthfully. He hadn't told Gulf or even Tul this but he wanted to be as honest as he could, he was fed up with the media creating drama out of practically nothing. He was at a club? So what. Thousands of other leading business people go partying, why can't he?
"Whom were you with?" Someone else asks.
"I was with a friend and his friendship group," Mew replies, staying serious but polite.
"It has come to our attention that you became violent towards another individual and you were seen, moments later, dragging another man by the wrist into the car park where you then left the premises." Mew takes a deep breath. He has to resist rolling his eyes.
"I pushed the man off of my friend who, may I add, was being sexually harrassed by this man and when he continued to pester my friend, I...lost it." He stares at the reporters. They stare back. "I then took my friend away from the situation. I did not drag him," Mew explains. As far as he was concerned, he had led a mostly willing Gulf out of the club.
"Mr Suppasit, we understand that you were protecting your friend but you do know how this will affect your career." Mew shakes his head, he's just about lost his patience with them.
"No, enlighten me," he says in a rather sarcastic tone.
"Well, for starters you were seen at a club, which makes you look rather irresponsible, don't you think? And then you continued to punch someone else - you're aggressive, no leading business man should come across that way, correct?" Mew would punch them in a minute if he weren't being filmed the entire time.
"Yes, but I think you're missing the point. My friend was sexually harrassed and I was only defending him. I wouldn't do something like that unprovoked!" Mew tries to explain. "This shouldn't be about me being at a club, this should be about how disgusting society is and how people like that will continue to get away with harassment!" Mew's practically out of breath. There's a moment of silence before a young woman speaks;
"Thank you for your time." That was the end of that, then. The reporters back off like a swarm of flies. Mew nods his head and backs away into his house, closing the door and undoing his tie.
