The cheerful Kou sat on Sakiko's lap. Azusa sat next to Sakiko as he gently grabbed her pinky. Ruki had his nose stuck to some book and Yuma definitely had sugar cubes to munch on. Asuka left earlier that week. And all Sakiko could think of was the small chat she had with Karl Heinz. What surprised her the most was that he had other things to talk to her about. And once he arrives all of the Mukami brothers need to go upstairs. And as if on cue the doorbell rang. And Sakiko rushed the brothers up stairs
"Onii-Chan, will everything be alright? That scary man with white hair won't harm you right?" Kou asked worriedly as he gave Sakiko a saddened look. Sakiko knelt down and gently patted his head.
"Of course not Kou-Kun. That man is going to help me help you." She smiled sweetly at him before she stood up. She gesture at the top of the stairs
"No run along upstairs." And he did so. Yet inside of him he still had a knot inside him that kept on building up. He was worried for Sakiko.
After Karl Heinz and Sakiko got situated in there comfortable seats. She offered him so oolong tea and biscuits (Cookies). But he kindly refused them away. It surprised Sakiko that a man such as himself would make a small stop to discuss matters with her. She understood that he was a vampire indeed, but what was his motive? And why were these brothers affected?
Karl Heinz crossed one leg over the other, as he entwined his fingers together and placed his neatly folded hands on top of his kneecap. He smiled sweetly at her, as Sakiko only gave him an eager look.
"I'm surprised, you lasted." He began. She said nothing but listen intently.
"Listen Sakiko, I must be blunt with you. This experiment indeed was an accident and I truly apologize for it. But recently when I was fixing up my things I noticed something very strange."
"And what could that possibly be?" Sakiko replied as she looked into the man's scarlet red orbs. That showed he wasn't at all sorry. In fact it seemed to her that he wanted to add a small apology to get the conversation flowing.
"It seems that you and Kou were in love. Am I correct?" He asked her as he received a nod from Sakiko.
"Well, during my studies that I learned from the potion. It seemed to me that any feelings the Mukami brother had for a person....were unfortunately taken away. It's as if there heart has forgotten that they loved someone."
And there inside of Sakiko's stomach unraveled the ball of worry. She felt sick to her stomach. Kou wasn't going to be hers anymore. To him when he grows up again she will be nothing more but a blood bag. She looked down at her lap as her hair from either side of her covered her face. Her heart started to race. She didn't want to believe not all.
"But there's a catch, if your love towards Kou was indeed strong then Kou should be fine. And you two can be together."
Sakiko looked up, her eyes wide as her heart began to slow down. She indeed loved Kou. And nothing could stop her from doing so. The only person she loved and had her eyes on was Kou. His cheeky smile, his jealousy at times, when he would hug her and kiss her softly. All of that was what she loved about Kou. But mostly to her, her heart raced whenever he held her hand. Her heart raced whenever he said the three magic words "I love you." Her heart raced when he would just look at her and smile. Even for the silliest reasons.
"But just in case something uncalled for happens I must provide you with a list of things you can do to stop this. Although I'm not one to actually help a bride, but seeing as this was my problem I feel the need to clean it up." Karl stated as he looked at Sakiko. This time she was already looking at him. She looked into his crimson red orbs. And he stared at her night sky eyes.
