♨Chapter 23♨

"Yea I'm scared to open this." Sakiko admitted as she stood up and shoved it in Kou's hands. He stumble a few steps back by her force that wasn't at all strong. She went near the door her back facing them her arms crossed over her chest. "You guys open it." She demanded. As Kou didn't hesitate in the slightest and ripped the envelope open, shredding it to pieces, and paper falling on to the ground. "It says, by-" Before Kou could even finish his words Powder fell from the room as Sakiko turned around and used her arm to cover her eyes she squinted open one eye and covered her mouth from the powder and coughed roughly into her palm. The red colored pepper made her eyes puffy and red and her eyes became tear as her palm was slightly red, coughing blood. She sniffed as she opened her eyes wide. "Hey! Guys where are you!?" She shouted followed by a rough cough that caused her to clutch her side. Her eye lids became heavy as they soon shut down on her and her body fell heavy to the ground, she collapsed on her knees then her upper body roughly hit the hard cold ground that was clean and didn't have a speck of red powder on it.

"What is this place?" Kou asked as he walked around in circles as he looked up at the sky, bright blue. The bluest blue he has ever seen. Cherry blossom trees on the right side and left, as a small fence was in front of it. The side walk and street was filled with the blossoms of the tree, as the wind picked a few up and left. The street and sidewalk were empty as the area they were in showed no signs of life at all. Walking down the sidewalk they realized that having no sound at all will drive them on the brink of madness. Who ever lived here obviously is crazy. It's like a funeral were everyone becomes deathly silent to give their prayers.

"Look over their!" Yuma shouted as he pointed ahead of them, they followed were the finger lead to and saw a small portal that looked like a black hole. Many different colors circled around the outline of the oval shaped object.

"What could this be?" Azusa asked, was he neared it but dared not to go in it.

"This is certainly not a black hole." Ruki confirmed as he placed a hand in his pocket.

"Then if it's not a black hole then what is it?" Kou wondered aloud, as the hole quickly vanished. The beautiful blossom tree's quickly died leaving the petals a black color crisp to the ground as the trees looked burned.

"Sakiko, has quiet the sister." Ruki started as he turned on his heel and began walking back to where they were in the beginning, Kou looked over his shoulder but then turned his entire body as he speed walked over to Ruki. Yuma and Azusa quickly walked next to them as well.

"What does that mean Ruki-kun?" Kou asked trying to match his pace with his brother. As he only let out a small chuckle.

"It means that..." He stopped in his tracks as everyone soon did as well Azusa bumping into Yuma as he let out a grunt of irritation. Ruki put out his arms as if he was reaching for the sky, "All this is an illusion. We are still in Sakiko's house. But whether or not she could still see us is something else." Ruki finished. As soon like a water color paint the area around them drained of everything all the trees, streets and sidewalks became one small puddle as it disappeared. And soon enough they look around and see that they are still in the same scary basement that they were in at the beginning. "The card isn't here anymore." Kou said as he looked at the floor. His gaze quickly fell on a body on the floor... Specifically Sakiko's body. "Sakiko!" Kou shouted as he quickly ran to her and dropped to his knees as he saw blood next to her. Her breathing is very light, and kou's calls didn't make her budge even when he shook her.

"Kou, calm down. I suggest we go home and try to let her rest." Ruki recommended.

"But she's dying!" Kou shrieked.

"We don't know that for sure." Ruki calmly replied trying to calm his stubborn brother. Azusa walked over to Kou and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Come...on, listen...to...Ruki-kun....Please it the best for her." Azusa pointed at Sakiko's body. Yuma walked over to her and carried her bridal style as he carefully held her head. So no damage can come to it.

Azusa walked next to Kou trying to comfort him reassuring him that Sakiko will be fine. And Yuma walked next to Ruki. "Finding her sister was a bad thing." Ruki scoffed making sure Yuma heard.

"C'mon lay off a bit, I mean she must be happy that someone from her family isn't dead don't you think?" Yuma whispered.

"I see your point. But that girl caused us trouble. Way too much trouble."

"I guess." Yuma replied emotionlessly as he didn't bother defending Sakiko.

"It feels like we haven't been here in forever!" Yuma said as his eyes glinted in the light happy to be back at home.

"Its....indeed...home sweet home....isn't it?" Azusa replied as he gave a smile. Yuma walked over to the blood red couch and gently placed Sakiko's body on it.

"Wait!" Ruki shouted as he held a finger silencing them.

"What's wrong Ruki?" Kou whispered his first words ever since they came back from Hokkaido.

"Listen." He whispered. They listened intently as they finally heard the sound, pans or silverware hitting at each other.

"Whoever it is, there not getting out that's for sure." Ruki chuckled.

"So sadistic." Kou whispered to his other brothers. Ruki began to walk to the kitchen the only reasonable place were that noise was coming from. As the other brothers followed. Ruki stopped in his tracks, as it became dead silent. The person looking through the fridge closed the fridge door and turned around to notice the brothers.

"They said love is an open door..."

"Who are you?" They all asked at the same time.

The confused person looked at the watch that's on their wrist. "Oh would you look at the time." Yuma quickly grabbed the person's wrist and gave a sly smile. "She's a beauty it would be a waste to give her off." Ruki neared closer to Yuma, "Wait, the description everything the one Sakiko was looking for, could you possibly be..."

"Asuka Kimura?" Kou finished as he roughly grabbed Yuma by his shoulder and yanked him away.

"So what if I am? What's in it to you?"
