She had a point. We had just started to talk and I was here, acting like she was going to open up to me
Me: I'm sorry. I thought we were friends
Kim: I thought that too until you started lying to me
Me: lie to you? About what?
Kim: Shawna approached me earlier today. She told me to steer clear of you, that you just had one little argument and well, you're still together
Me: wait, what?
Kim: I don't even care if you guys are still together. I really don't. There was just no point lying to me
Me: you know what? I'm not ready for this conversation
Kim: yeah rightShe said standing up
Me: don't tell me you're leaving
Kim: Hailey won't be up for some hours. She doesn't need me here
Me: I didn't invite you over because of Hailey. You're my friend, not Hailey's
Kim: then you should have thought of that before lying to my face. Piece of advice, you should really fix your relationship. The both of you look good togetherShe turned and left. I couldn't follow her. I remembered Ryan's sentence. "Don't let your past affect your present. Kim isn't one for boyfriend drama and she's really too sweet to be caught in the middle of you and your terrible ex". I sighed. Shawna had managed to ruin what had not even started. Kim's voice replayed in my head. "Piece of advice, you should really fix your relationship. The both of you look good together" Was that what she thought? I picked up my phone and called Dani. She picked up immediately
Dani: I was just about to call you
Me: why?
Dani: mom decided to stay home so I'm on my way over
Me: alright. I'll be waitingI hung up
Kimberly's POV
I got home and hit the gym downstairs just to practice my stunts. I plugged in my ear pods and got caught up in my own world. There was just this anger and pain inside me. I wondered why I was feeling this way. It's not like I had something to do with him. I don't know how long I stayed there. My phone rang. I stopped, breathing heavily. I picked up the phone. I missed the call. Jayden. I looked at the time. Almost 8. He must have been looking for me. I grabbed my bottle of water and headed up
Daniela's POV
I got to his place and met Hailey sound asleep
Me: you finally put her to sleep
I said, sitting down
Nicholas: I actually didn't do that. Kimberly did
Me: she was here?
Nicholas: left a while back
Me: okay?I knew there was more to it than he was telling
Me: why'd she leave?
Nicholas: well....After explaining everything to me, I couldn't say anything. No girl would react that way except she really did like you. I told him
Nicholas: I don't think so. I feel she just likes honesty, besides, if she did, I'm sure that is gone by now
Me: I don't think so
Nicholas: trust me
Me: I'm a girl. it's not gone. She's probably just upset. That's allHe laid down on his back. I noticed a pizza box and opened it. Just two slices were missing
Me: let me guess, you ordered for her
Nicholas: and she didn't even eat it
Me: I willHe laughed. Chicken pizza, not a bad taste
Nicholas: you think she's okay?
Me: stop worrying about her. She is probably busy with something elseI dropped the pizza and laid on him. He hugged me back. Nicholas and I have been friends since I was little. Way before his dad became Mr secretary. That never affected our friendship though
