I woke up by past 2. She was awake, on her phone. I moved close to her and hugged her
Kim: did I wake you?
Me: nah, you didn't
I grabbed my phone to take a look at the time
Me: it's just past 2. Why are you up?
Kim: couldn't sleep
Me: but you slept in the garden earlier
Kim: I guess so
Me: come here
She moved close to me and I hugged her. I was sleepy as hell but I had to stay up with her. We talked about her Mom. She started to sleep off again. Saying one it two words, nodding and moaning. Very soon, she slept off. I woke up to Beth and Dani giggling. I groaned
Me: will you both quit it?
Beth: sorry
I rubbed my face and opened my eyes. Barry and Ryan were still asleep. I looked at Kim. She was still sound asleep. She deserved it. I carefully turned away. I pulled out my phone
Me: it's just seven
Beth: breakfast is by 9.
Me: it's not 9 yet. Quit the noise
I said throwing the duvet on my face. I couldn't go back to sleep. After minutes of trying, I got up, had a shower and got dressed. I got back on Kim's bed and kissed her cheek
Me: hey baby
She curled up to me like Hailey did when I woke her up. I laughed
Kim: go away
Me: want to skip breakfast?
Kim: not really
Me: it's almost 8
Kim: breakfast isn't till 9
Me: if you say so
She opened her eyes. Her pretty green eyes though they looked diluted with sleep now. She looked around
Kim: why didn't you wake Barry or Ryan?
Me: they can skip breakfast for all I care, you can't
Barry: very funny
She sat up, crosslegged. She threw the duvet off her body. Her skin, I couldn't stop staring at her legs since she was on shorts. I was literally fighting the urge to touch her. I looked up, she was on the phone, waving at somebody. I was so lost in her body that I didn't even hear the phone ring. I looked at her phone. It was Bryant
Me: hey buddy
Bryant: hey
Kim: I'd come home by Sunday baby
Bryant: but you'll be leaving
Kim: yes, till the next Sunday
Bryant: that's far
Barry joined us on the bed
Bryant: I'm mad at you
Barry: why?
Bryant: you didn't call last night
Barry: I'm sorry. I was just very tired and I slept off
Bryant: not forgiven
Barry: hey, cmon monkey, I am really sorry. How can I make it up?
Bryant: gummy bears
Barry: I'd get you a big jar on my way back on Sunday
Bryant: for the rest of the year
Me: rest of the year?
Barry: no can do
Bryant growled
Barry: fine, for the rest of the year
Kim smiled
Kim: how's Jayden?
Bryant: he's okay. He's taking me and Tasha to the movies
Barry: what are you going to watch?
Bryant: my favorite
Kim: Despicable me 2
She smiled
Kim: you've watched it a hundred times Bryant
Bryant: and I'll watch it a hundred more
Kim: had breakfast yet?
Bryant: not yet. Chef Chloe is still cooking
Kim: sorry baby
Bryant: it's okay. I got to eat all the chocolate cake I could
Barry looked at Kim
Kim: don't tell me you finished it
Bryant: that'll be way too much sugar. I didn't but I did mix the ice cream and out the gummy bears in it
Kim: Bryant!!!!!! You're getting detoxified once I get back
Bryant: just get me a Vegetable smoothie on Sunday
