Chapter 11 - Consequences

"Expelled?!" Don asked shocked "yeah we really messed up" Mike responded "how you feeling Tanya?" Sulley turned to her "the snapped horn is unfortunately permanent but my other wounds should heal within a few months" she responded until it all went quiet "sorry guys, you'd be in the scaring programme right now if it wasn't for us" Mike apologised but team smiled in response "what?" Sulley asked "well it's the gosh darnest thing-" Don started "Hardscrabble's letting us into the scare programme" Terry said "what?" Mike asked again "she was impressed with our performance in the games" he continued "she invited us to join next semester!" Terri said after him "woah congratulations guys!" Sulley praised "and that's not the only piece of good news.. sherry and I are engaged!" Don confirmed "oh.. who's Sherry?" Sulley asked "ugh.. she's my mom" Squishy revealed as she came over "well if it isn't my two favourite fellas?!" she teased excitedly "come here give me some sugar" Don said to her which cringed out Squishy, Mike, Sulley and Tanya "ugh.. so uncomfortable" Squishy mumbled "aw come on Scott.. I don't want you thinking of me as your 'new dad' we're fraternity brothers first" Don reassured "this is so weird" Squishy continued "just think of me as your big brother who's marrying your mother - wait hold on - we're brothers who share the same mom / wife... that's worse" Don realised.

Mike and Sulley put both their suitcases down outside the house and turned to the team "well.. I guess we should be going now" Mike said "promise me you'll keep in touch" Don handed Mike his card "you're the most scariest bunch of monsters I have ever met. Don't let anyone tell you different" Mike assured and the team decided to have a group hug until Tanya walked them out to the front of the university "so what now..?" Sulley asked "y'know, for the first time in my life I actually don't have a plan" Mike revealed "you're the great Mike Wazowski, you'll think of something" Sulley said until the bus came leaving Mike little chance to speak since he got on and started traveling away. Mike got to the first step of the bus after Sulley jumped on the window "are you crazy?!" he said as Sulley rambled about their history of how they met and started to threaten Hardscrabble "I can just what? Careful Mr. Sullivan, I was just warming up to you" she said "sorry" he responded to her as Tanya came up to them "well, gentlemen, it seems you made the front page again" she said handing them the newspaper with them on the cover "the two of you did something together that nobody has ever done before... you surprised me. Perhaps I should look out for more.. surprises like you in my programme but as far as the three of you are concerned, there is nothing more I can do for Mr. Wazowski and Mr. Sullivan now but perhaps.. wish you luck" she said to them as they were a little surprised "and Mr. Wazowski, keep surprising people" she told him as she flew away. Tanya eventually left them to go back to her team as Mike and Sulley left.
