(A/N: So many reads! Thanks so much! I'm looking for some new stories to read, so message me if you've written or know of some awesome ones. I love basically any PJO/The 100/Hunger Games/etc fanfics!)

"Powers?" I echoed.

"Yes. As the commander of my army, you will receive new abilities, more powerful than you could ever imagine, and more." Lord Chaos replied.

Once more, he gripped my shoulder. "Now that you have seen and understand the ways of my realm, we will go to my palace and meet the Alpha Force Team."

The surroundings around me disappeared instantly, and just as quickly, new scenery appeared.

"What was that?" I murmured. It was faster than shadow-travel, and unlike anything I had experienced before.

Lord Chaos smiled. "Teleportation. It's one of the many abilities you will receive soon."

I nodded, thinking. Suddenly, I realized what was towering above us. A sprawling, elegant palace with spiral towers and ancient walls lay before us. It was pure ebony black, but flashed various colours when you weren't looking directly at it. In the windows, shadows darted to and fro. The palace reminded me of all the evil villain's lairs in movies, clashed together with the king's castle out of fairy tales. Annabeth would be amazed at the architecture of this place, I thought. Then I shook my head, reminding myself to stop thinking about her.

"Come. We have much work to do," Lord Chaos ordered, striding into his palace. I followed close behind.

The primordial weaved his way through a maze of dark corridors, lit by flaming torches and floating orbs of light. If I had not been at his heels, I'd have been lost long ago. Eventually, Lord Chaos and I reached two wide, black marble doors that almost demanded to be opened. However, there were no door handles to be seen.

With a snap, Lord Chaos clapped his hands and the doors parted in front of us. A room that reminded me of the throne room atop Mount Olympus was revealed, however there were only nine regal thrones, arranged in a circle rather than a U. The two at the head and foot of the circle were different than the other identical thrones. I guessed one was Lord Chaos's, but who sat in the second? Inside, seven figures wearing dark cloaks waited, each in their own throne. Raw power rivalling that of the gods emanated from them.

"Percy?" One of them blurted out, shocked. I turned to the speaker, but couldn't identify him - it was definitely a him - underneath the swath of cloaks. His voice sent shivers of familiarity down my spine.

The seven figures slipped off their thrones lithely, like panthers. They padded towards me, but instead of intimidation I felt only respect and subdued enthusiasm from them towards me.

"Alpha Force Team, please welcome your new commander, Percy Jackson. Percy, these are your soldiers. They will introduce themselves now." Lord Chaos directed.

The figure who'd spoken before stepped forward first. Hesitating, he threw back his hood. I stumbled backwards, my mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. He needed no introduction.

"L-Luke?"
